Casper is one of the most popular online mattress brands because of how comfortable and accommodating the beds are. The Casper Original memory foam mattress is currently on sale through Amazon for 14% off. That drops the price of a queen down to $1,118.

That's not the only Casper bed you can get on sale right now. For example, Casper Element is available for $458 instead of $595.

We expect to see the prices of these beds drop even lower for Prime Day, although keep in mind these beds were discontinued when Casper recently redesigned their mattress lineup. So, it's hard to say how long these beds will be in stock.

Like Casper, Nectar recently revamped its mattress catalog, so there won’t be many more chances to buy the older models. The flagship Nectar memory foam bed is currently 39% off. That means you’ll only pay $551 instead of $900.

You’ll be hard-pressed to find a memory foam bed as popular as Nectar at this price. If you’re a fan of dense memory foam that cradles you as you sleep, this might be the best for you. The Nectar Premier Copper mattress is also on sale for only $874 instead of $1,249.

Whether you're hosting or camping, you might be in the market for an air mattress. A 22-inch queen Intex Dura-Beam Deluxe Elevated Air Mattress is currently on sale for 35% off during early Prime Day deals. Instead of $95, you can get this high-rise air bed for only $62. It’s a hefty air mattress with lumbar support and a built-in electric pump, so $33 in savings is a big deal.

This air mattress has three height options in twin, full and queen sizes. The discount will vary depending on the size and height combination you choose.

It’s not just mattresses on sale during Prime Day; you can also get popular pillows for less. For example, The Casper Original Pillow usually retails for $65, although with early Prime Day deals, you can get a standard size for only $45. The king-size Casper Original Pillow is 18% off, dropping to $70.

The Casper Original Pillow is a solid and dependable pillow that anyone will like, thanks to the cotton cover and down alternative filling. It also has a cooling cover that won’t trap heat.

It’s a good time to replace those old, flat pillows with fresh, fluffy ones. Right now, a standard two-pack of Mzoimzo pillows is on sale for only $23 instead of $37. That’s 38% off. These pillows have a down alternative filling, which is great for those with allergies.

We’re seeing different discounts across Mzoimzo pillow set sizes.

Prime Day is a great time to spend less on hotel quality sheets. You can get a Mellanni four-piece sheet set for your queen mattress for only $30. This set usually retails for $51, which is 42% off. Deep pocket options are also on sale now, although the price will vary depending on the size.

Tempur-Pedic/CNET

If you're not ready to drop the cash for a new bed but need to sleep better, consider a mattress topper. Toppers can change your bed's firmness or feel to make it more comfortable. Memory foam lovers will be happy to know that the Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Adapt Supreme Topper is 40% off, dropping it from $419 to $251 for a queen. That's $168 in savings.

Mattress protectors can help you extend the life of your mattress by reducing allergens, protecting it from spills and limiting debris buildup. If you've been meaning to buy one, now is the time. A queen SafeRest Waterproof Mattress Protector is currently only $32 instead of $70 thanks to an on-page coupon for 54% off.

Amazon/CNET

Right now, you can get a white queen Bedsure Comforter for 56% off. While you can use this fluffy blanket as your main comforter, the tabs also allow it to function as a duvet insert. This early Prime Day sale is available in all colors; although the discount varies. You’ll see similar variations across sizes too.

If you’re looking for on-demand temperature control, you won’t want to miss snagging the BetJet 3 Climate Comfort fan for 18% off. Right now, you can get it for only $489 instead of $599. This isn’t the lowest we’ve seen the BedJet 3 fan, and we expect the discount to increase during Prime Day on Oct. 8 and 9.

The Mzoo Sleep Eye Mask is currently on sale for $22 instead of $29. This foam eye mask has an adjustable strap and eye cutouts, allowing you to get the perfect fit without putting pressure on your eyes. If light interrupts your sleep, you won’t want to miss this 24% off deal.

Is it worth it to buy a mattress during Prime Day?

Mattresses are almost always on sale, whether because of major holiday events on brand websites or seasonal sales to compete with things like Prime Day. You should never buy a mattress for full price. Prime Day is a great chance to get a mattress on Amazon for less money. Many top brands like Casper and Nectar are sold through Amazon, as well as lesser-known brands like Nap Queen or Zinus

Beds are a big purchase, so any amount off the top is a big deal. Prime Day sales might be a particularly good time to shop for your next bed if you want a specific one. Like in the case of Nectar and Casper, the recently discontinued beds aren't available on the brand websites anymore, so Amazon is one of the few places you can get them while supplies last.
