Apploff Entertainment has promoted from within.
The company, which is behind Netflix game show Best Guess Live, has upped Zach Gelfand to Director of Development. He will report to President and CEO Jeff Apploff and work closely with VP, Current and Development Danielle Peress.
Gelfand joined Apploff Entertainment three years ago and is a co-exec producer on Best Guess Live, which is hosted by Howie Mandel and Hunter March and is the streamer’s first-ever mobile weekday quiz show.
He has also worked on Fox’s Beat Shazam, which is hosted by Jamie and Corinne Foxx, and Don’t Forget the Lyrics!, which is hosted by Niecy Nash. Both shows are returning soon to Fox and will celebrate their 100th episodes.
