The Galaxy S24 series offers improvements over its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 series, such as more efficient batteries, brighter screens, higher-quality cameras and all-around better specs that have vastly improved the phone's performance. Most notably, these phones are among the first to include generative AI capability directly in the device itself. That means you'll be able to use generative AI services anywhere, even when the device is offline. The phones are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which means performance for on-device AI should be both fast and dependable.

What is the best Galaxy S24 deal right now?
At the moment, shopping directly at Samsung is one of the best ways to score savings on a Galaxy S24 phone. The manufacturer is offering straightforward discounts of up to $250 off, a free storage upgrade for the S24 Ultra and up to an additional $650 off if you trade in an old device. And unlike most other trade-in offers, this deal won't lock you into a multi-year contract or service plan. However, if you are looking to sign on with a carrier, Verizon has the best offers at the moment.
Best Galaxy S24 deals
There are some serious savings available if you buy your new Galaxy S24 phone from Samsung directly. The manufacturer has knocked $100 off the basic S24, $200 off the S24 Plus and $250 off the S24 Ultra, but these discounts are only available if you choose not to trade in an old phone or tablet. If you do have an eligible trade-in, it can score you up to $400 off the basic S24, $650 off the S24 Plus or $800 off the S24 Ultra. You can also save $120 on select colors of the 512GB S24 Ultra, so you're getting double the storage for free.
If you have or upgrade to an eligible unlimited plan, you can save hundreds on Galaxy S24 phones right now at AT&T. The basic S24 starts at $11 per month when purchased on an installment plan, which saves you over $400 compared to the list price. You can also take advantage of advanced trade-in credit for serious discounts on the Galaxy S24 Plus and Ultra. Phones valued at just $95 or more will net you up to $1,000 in bill credits, while those valued at just $35 or more will still save you up to $800.
If you need more than one new phone, AT&T is also offering discounts when you purchase two Galaxy phones on an installment plan. With this offer, you can grab the basic S24 for just $6 per month. You can also bundle a Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G and/or a Galaxy Watch 7 for just $1 per month with the purchase, but you'll need to add a service plan for these devices as well.
If you're looking for savings on an unlocked model, Best Buy is offering some generous discounts at the moment. The tech retailer has knocked $80 off the basic S24, $150 off the S24 Plus and $250 off the S24 Ultra. Plus, you can save an extra $100 if you opt for same-day activation, and you'll get a free month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as an additional bonus. Best Buy also has its own trade-in program where you can score up to $460 in credit.
Those adding a new line at Verizon can score some serious savings on all three Galaxy S24 phones right now. If you're on an Unlimited Plus or Ultimate plan, adding a new line will net you the basic S24 or the S24 Plus for free, or knock a whopping $1,120 off the S24 Ultra, which drops it down to just $5 per month. If you don't feel like upgrading service plans, customers on any Verizon myPlan can still save up to $1,000 with an eligible trade-in. Those on an Unlimited Plus or Ultimate plan can also get a free Samsung QLED TV with the purchase.
Spectrum has knocked $200 off the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus, and $300 off the S24 Ultra. Plus, you'll get an extra $100 in credit for any eligible trade-in. The phone you trade in needs to have a value of at least $1, so the odds are whatever phone you're using will get you something.
The basic S24 and S24 Plus are currently sold out, but you can score big savings on the S24 Ultra if you're looking to join Google Fi. New customers on an Unlimited Plus or Flexible plan will save $200 instantly and get another $450 back via bill credits over a 24-month period.
Right now Mint Mobile has the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra all at a straightforward $50 discount, as long as you commit to a 12-month wireless plan.
