Newegg gives away free 16GB DDR5 RAM kit with Gigabyte B650M motherboard all for just $109

The Gigabyte board is micro ATX, and lacks PCIe 5.0, but it does include Wi-Fi 6E and 2.5GbE, two M.2 slots and four SATA ports. So storage isn't going to be an issue for most builds.

The Team Group RAM also isn't top-end by any means. But it's no slow slouch, either, rated for DDR5-6000 speeds (AMD EXPO and Intel XMP ready), which is actually the sweet spot for gaming performance on AMD's current platform. Of course, 16GB isn't great for a gaming rig that you want to last for years. But hey, it's hard to argue with 'free' RAM when the stuff has been surging 500% lately thanks to AI demand.

This excellent $8.49 power button gadget lets you start your PC from your desk

The two key switches that serve as your PC's power and reset buttons are made to look like Cherry MX-compatible mechanical keyboard switches, and Meiriyfa claims they're good for over 5 million keystrokes. Besides the buttons, there are also connectors for the PC's power LED and disk access LEDs.

The keys rest in a smooth black plastic case with a wire that extends to the PC itself, and that's where we find this product's next trick: an included "1 to 2 splitter" that allows you to connect both the external power and reset buttons as well as the standard case front connectors.

For overclockers, for folks who are extremely sensitive to aesthetics (and want to hide an ugly desktop PC), or simply for enthusiasts who enjoy the feeling of a big, clicky key to power on their PC, Meiriyfa's external power button could make an excellent stocking stuffer or gag gift. — Zak Killian

Grab 14TB of shuckable HDD storage for an all-time low $169

The WD Elements 14 measures 5.31 x 1.89 x 6.53 inches and weighs 0.9 pounds. Although it's not obnoxiously big or heavy, it's one of those external storage devices that'll probably spend more time on your desk than on the road. The device requires external power and must be connected to a wall outlet via an AC adapter.

Western Digital provides a limited two-year warranty on the WD Elements 14TB, giving you extra peace of mind. — Zhiye Liu

This is the perfect entry-level 3D printer, now 33% off

The direct-drive extruder and the optional AMS (multi-material system for printing multiple colors or filaments) make short work of multi-color and multi-material prints. All you need to do is get a “poop bucket” to catch the waste filament. The optional AMS brings the price to $329, $130 off the regular price.

If you don’t need to print big, then this little printer is ideal. Wargamers and modelers will soon be printing figures, statues, and scenery with this great printer.

An RTX 5050 at a price that finally makes sense — $219 is just right

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050

You can see from the chart that the RTX 5050 is a bit of a tough sell at its $249 MSRP, but it looks better at $219 compared to the Intel Arc B570 and Arc B580, neither of which has really budged this holiday season. If you need a truly cheap gaming upgrade and want to stick with Team Green, this deal is your ticket. - Jeff Kampman

A cool liquid cooler with a cool LCD and a cool price to keep your CPU cool. And it's 20% off, which is even cooler.

Thermalright's AIO solutions have tested very well for us in the past, so this is a trusted brand with a track record of great cooling performance. It might not match the Liquid Freezer from Arctic, but no other cooler can, and this one is cheaper and has more features.

This cooler supports AMD's AM4 and AM5 platforms, as well as basically every Intel platform going, so you can use it to cool any of the CPUs from the last few years with no trouble. It's even suitable for a hefty Ryzen 9 9950X3D or Ryzen 7 9800X3D. - Stephen Warwick

Apple's MacBook Air is still at an all-time low

For several years, Apple has kept its old M1 MacBook Air going at Walmart. For Cyber Monday, that system is selling at $549.99 at Walmart. But that system is getting a bit old, with a five-year-old processor, a lower-resolution display, a worse webcam, an inferior keyboard, and an outdated design with thick bezels. Don't fall for it.

So it's worth it to drop the extra $150 on the M4 MacBook Air. I know that's a lot of cash, but the M4 system delivers so many benefits over the M1 version that it's worth the splurge, especially if you plan to keep it for a long time. We reviewed the M1 system in 2020, while the M4 MacBook Air came out earlier this year.

Take a look at the gains in benchmarks like Handbrake and our file transfer test, as well as the improvements in display quality and brightness:

A Logitech webcam for just $25? Yes, please!

What's there to say about a webcam like this? It delivers 1080p-quality video to your audience and, to save you from buying a headset, it has a built-in mic. It's an all-in-one camera setup that, while built for work, can certainly handle personal calls with friends and family.

It uses a USB-A cable, features a privacy shutter, and can be fully customized and controlled via the Logi Options+ app. If you need to get yourself ready for your next meeting on a budget, this Logitech webcam deal for Cyber Monday is a great way to do it. — Ben Stockton

Charge everything for less with Sabrent's monstrous 252-Watt charging station for only $59

Not everyone needs an eight-port, 250W USB charger. But if you do, you'll know most of them tend to cost around $100 or more – especially if you want one with a screen so you can monitor its impressive (but still limited) output. But Sabrent's 252W USB PD charger delivers lots of juice, four USB-C ports that top out at 100W, and four USB-A ports (18W). It's a boxy charging beast, but also includes a display so you can check the per-port output and temperature.

With four USB-C and four USB-A ports, a max output of 252 watts, and a screen to monitor your charging devices, this is one serious charging station for those with serious charging needs. Its power supply is also internal, which probably explains why it looks like a brick. But considering its current sale price, this is a whole lot of charging power for not a lot of money. And it's shorter than a smartphone, so it's smaller than it looks.

Sabrent splits the charger's capabilities down to 126W "per side," so if you have a couple of high-draw laptops and other devices that you want to charge at once, you'll have to pay attention to which port you use. But that color screen will tell you if something isn't charging as fast as it could or should, so you can adjust accordingly. —Matt Safford

Hoto's cordless vacuum cleaner/duster is a versatile tech accessory, and a steal at its current $39 Cyber Monday deal price

Hoto in blower mode, cleaning a keybaord

I've been using the Air Capsule on and off for several months, and its accessories make it surprisingly versatile. A small vacuum canister attaches to one end for cleaning up a mess. And when you want to blow dust or dirt out of or off of something, you attach one of the nozzles to the other end.

It only runs for about ten minutes on a charge, but that's generally enough for the kinds of small jobs this desk accessory was designed for. And I've tried out a few competing devices, and they all last about 6-12 minutes at full power.

The only real downside I've found is that the accessories are easy to misplace because they don't come with a storage system. The bag-free vacuum accessory is also pretty small. So it's only good for small messes, and you'll want to empty it every time. But that's as easy as a twist and a dump over your garbage can. It's become a handy solution to my often messy, careless desk-eating habits. -- Matt Safford

Ditch the gamer aesthetic with the Keychron V1 mechanical keyboard for just over $60

The Keychron V1 packs several highlights: first, support for QMK and VIA, which lets you customize key layouts, macros, and more, with no devious bloat like many other peripheral software packages. Furthermore, you also get hot-swappable switches, allowing you to swap things out if one fails or if you want a different typing experience. The V1 is available in tactile brown or linear red, but if you want to customize it, there are thousands of possibilities.

Lastly, we've got to talk about the knob, the beloved knob is now a mainstay in many 75% keyboards, but Keychron was one of the first to popularize it. The knob is useful in a handful of contexts, but admittedly, it mostly looks cool. At just over $60, the V1 is a solid choice and a great option if you're shopping for something to spice up your setup. — Sayem Ahmed

We’ve already extolled the virtues of Strebito’s smaller $8 sixty-four-piece electronics kit, but this larger version is just as great. Inside the folding polyester case is the same main driver handle, but then we get 120, 4mm precision driver bits made from CR-V steel.

You name it, this has it! Phillips, Flathead, Torx, Tamper-Resistant Torx, Pentalobe, Pozidriv, Tri-Wing, Hex, Gamebit (for Nintendo consoles), and then there are even more tools! Suction cup with SIM card eject pin (because we always lose the one that came with our phone), angled tweezers, magnetizer, magnetic project mat, spudgers, plastic pry tools, brush, microfiber cloths. There is even an adapter to use the 4mm bits in a ¼ inch driver or drill, handy!

The driver has an extendable shaft and a flexible shaft for hard-to-reach screws. All of the bits are magnetic to reduce the chance of dropping a screw in a hard-to-reach place. The included magnetic screw mat is damn useful for taking a laptop or a complex electronic board apart. Just place the screws on the grid, label them, and then move on to the next screw.

If you are looking for a holiday gift for that maker or PC builder in your life, then the Strebito precision screwdriver set is a steal at this price. - Les Pounder

Grab Razer's ultra-adjustable Iskur V2 gaming chair for a massive 38% off

Razer Iskur V2

Looking for a place to sit after all that Cyber Monday shopping? Razer's Iskur V2 is a highly configurable gaming chair with excellent lumbar support and a full 152-degree recline (so you can take a nap, too, while you're at it), and it's currently 38% off at Razer's website for Black Friday. You can grab this premium gaming chair for just $399.99 (was $649.99) right now.

The Iskur V2 comes in three colorways (black, gray, and black with green accent stitching) and is upholstered in premium faux leather. It has the familiar gaming/racing style, but it's not too ostentatious — it's pretty sleek, especially if you don't get the green-stitched variant. It features lockable 4D armrests and a sturdy lumbar pad that adjusts horizontally, vertically, and in a "cross-plane path" — meaning it swivels left and right, which is great for people with unorthodox sitting styles. It also reclines fully, though we're not sure how often you really need that feature in a gaming chair, and comes with a removable headrest pillow featuring Razer's signature snake logo. Read our full review of the Iskur V2 here.

And if you love the look of the Iskur V2, but you don't need something quite so adjustable, the Iskur V2 X is also on sale — down to $249.99 on Amazon (was $299.99).

This impressively lightweight open-back wireless gaming headset is almost 30% off

Turtle Beach Atlas Air

You probably don't think of an "open-back headset" when you think of a gaming headset, but if you don't need noise isolation, you might want to think again. Turtle Beach's impressively lightweight Atlas Air is the "world's first wireless open-back gaming headset," and it's not only super comfortable — it also sounds pretty good. It's currently on sale for $129.99 at Amazon (down from its original MSRP of $179.99).

The Atlas Air features 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity (as well as wired connectivity), 40mm dynamic drivers, and support for 24-bit audio. It also has a detachable flip-to-mute boom mic — while we liked that it was detachable and the flip-to-mute feature, it didn't work quite as nicely as anticipated.

But even without the mic, this headset sounds great for both music and gaming, with a nicely balanced sound profile that leans a little toward the low end and a wide, detailed soundstage for all those multi-layered audio environments in games. The BarraCuda is gone, but great storage steals live on

Naturally, this is an external drive, but if you're willing to void your warranty and gamble on the shucking lottery, you could get a nifty internal drive. If external works for you, this is frankly a silly value for money. This drive also comes with a USB 3.0 (Type-A) cable and an 18W external power adapter. — Stephen Warwick

This gaming monitor hits 144 Hz at 4K, and a blistering 288 Hz at 1080p, all for only $199

Although we often see QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution in a 27-inch monitor, the MAG 275UPD ups the ante with a 4K (3840 x 2160) IPS panel with a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz. Although we haven't yet tested the MAG 275UPD, MSI claims that it covers 130% of sRGB and 90% of DCI-P3. In addition, you'll find two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4a port. If that wasn't enough, there are also two built-in 2-watt speakers.

One other item of note is that the MAG 275UPD supports a dual-mode refresh rate. While the monitor supports up to 144 Hz at 4K resolution, it can reach 288 Hz at Full HD (1920 x 1080). — Brandon Hill

A cheaper OLED monitor option at a smoking price

With OLED tech, you get rapid GtG response times of just 0.03 ms and very smooth gameplay. The 240Hz will light up any title, but you can go even more hardcore with the 360Hz refresh option if you prefer. That model has been sub-$600 before, making the 240Hz the value play here. — Stephen Warwick

8Bitdo's SN30 Pro Wireless Bluetooth controller is a great retro-inspired gaming option for those who miss the SNES days but want to play modern and retro games

As you might expect, given this controller's small size, its Rumble motors aren't the strongest, and the layout can feel kind of cramped for some modern games. But for any kind of retro game, especially platformers, this is my favorite controller. I recently used it to play through (or nearly through) The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and loved every minute.

The Quest 3S uses Fresnel lenses with three fixed adjustment settings along with two LCDs — one for each eye — with a resolution of 1832 x 1920 and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. That works out to 773 pixels per inch (ppi), versus 1,218 ppi for the pricier Quest 3. Powering the headset is a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 SoC paired with 8GB and your choice of either 128GB or 512GB of storage. You'll also find a 4,324 mAh battery onboard that can provide up to 2.5 hours of runtime.

If you're into VR gaming, the Quest 3S comes with a free copy of Gorilla Tag, which is an excellent showcase for the headset and its motion controllers. You can also use the headset to watch movies on Netflix, if that's your thing.

With that said, with an effective price of around $200 when you take into account the gift card, the Meta Quest 3S could make a great gift idea for the tech nerd in your family, or even a quick grab to add to your own gadget stash. — Brandon Hill

This Crucial T710 4TB NVMe is one of the best SSD deals you can still grab right now

We tested the 2TB variant of this SSD in our four-star review, stating that the drive offers solid performance across our performance tests, with good power efficiency, cache layout and good TLC write speeds. Though it might not be the best drive out there as a whole, it’s still good enough in the right ways to suit most setups. We’ve dropped some performance tests of the 2TB model below.

Crucial T710 2TB SSD

From the tests above, you can find that the 2TB T710 pushes the speeds of predecessor, the T705. While it can't keep up with the speeds of the latest and greatest, its scores make it a very viable SSD to put into just about any system.

At just $379.99 at Amazon, many of our criticisms are trumped in favor of pure value. Having such a speedy 4TB drive in a system cannot be overstated, and you can manage installations of large games or ballooning projects with ease, without having to reach for a slower HDD. Don’t miss this one, it’s one of the best SSD deals you can still grab this shopping season. — Sayem Ahmed
