Grammys 2025: Benson Boone’s Sneaky Crotch Grab Has the Internet Spiraling
People are showing appreciation for Benson Boone's beautiful things.
After the 22-year-old sang his hit "Beautiful Things" during the Grammys 2025 ceremony on Feb. 2, fans couldn't stop talking about a NSFW moment during the performance when he seemingly got caught adjusting his package. (For all the stars who showed out at the 2025 Grammy Awards, click here.)
While on stage at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena, Benson wore a form-fitting bedazzled baby blue jumpsuit that featured a waist belt and a very deep V. At one point toward the end of his performance, as seen in a video shared to X Feb. 2, the "In The Stars" singer widened his legs and pulled down his ensemble right in the—er—crotch region.
Following the sneaky moment, fans had a couple questions about Benson's hand movement, with one X user asking, "Why’d he grab his lil Boone like that."
Another wrote, "Why do men fix that crotch in any situation no matter who around and watching."
Others worried that Benson was hinting that his outfit choice wasn't ideal. As one use theorized, "He is not comfortable."
And some were more focused on SZA, who wore a blank expression as the camera panned to her as soon as the moment concluded.
"She literally said 'anyways' without saying a word," one user quipped, while another joked, "She was gagged."

Benson wasn't only a performer at the 2025 Grammys, which were hosted by Trevor Noah for the fifth consecutive year. The singer was also nominated in the Best New Artist category, where Chappell Roan won big over him and fellow nominees Sabrina Carpenter, Teddy Swims, Doechii, Raye, Shaboozey and Khruangbhin.
But Benson has plenty to feel grateful for even without a Grammy win. After all, he's still soaking in the success of his breakthrough single "Beautiful Things," which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 in 2023.
"I'm trying so hard to formulate words," Benson told Variety in March 2024. "I have so much trouble processing it all right now…But when I sit back and look at what's happening, it really, truly blows my mind. Because it's something a lot of people dream of, and [I'm] one of those people."
