Below Deck Mediterranean season 10’s cast is being speculated on and while many of the presumably confirmed cast members appear to be exciting, the show shouldn’t welcome back Joe Bradley for another season. Throughout Below Deck Mediterranean season 9, there were a few storylines that struck viewers and eventually lost their attention. Despite knowing that many of the Below Deck Med cast members were new to the franchise, the drama they got into was surprising to the audience, as it felt like it had been played out on previous seasons of the long-running Below Deck franchise show.

Joe, who appeared as part of the deck team on Below Deck Mediterranean season 9, worked alongside a dedicated team that was full of fresh faces on the show. With all of them working beneath Captain Sandy Yawn, they knew they were bound to get some great experience aboard Mustique, but they weren’t prepared for how difficult working together would be. Joe, who was appointed the lead deckhand by Bosun Iain MacLean early in the season, was close with his fellow deckhand Nathan Gallagher, and cordial with deckhand Gael Cameron. The deckhands consistently faced issues with Iain’s leadership, and their own personal relationship.

Below Deck Med Season 9’s Drama Revolved Around Joe

He Was The Center Of The Love Triangle

Although Joe was a huge part of Below Deck Med season 9, he’s memorable for some of the worst possible reasons. Joe, who struggled throughout the charter season to keep his relationships with Ellie Dubaich and Bri Muller together, was playing the stews against each other from early on. While he bonded with Ellie quickly, things escalated with Bri just days later. Ellie and Bri quickly began fighting, which Joe was put in the middle of.

Despite the stews continually trying to back off Joe, he wasn’t interested in ending their relationships during the charter season. Pursuing both of them continuously, Joe refused to face his actions when presented with them. Though he understood he was causing drama, Joe resued to care about what was happening outside of himself.

Below Deck Med Viewers Didn’t Like Joe’s Lack Of Accountability

He Wasn’t Good At Maintaining Relationships

Joe’s time aboard Mustique proved that he’s not great at maintaining relationships when he isn’t feeling positive about them. While he pitted Bri and Ellie against each other and simply watched them fight over him throughout the charter season, Joe was quick to scrap both relationships when he didn’t feel like they were serving him anymore. Making off-handed comments around the women about their connections, Joe wasn’t able to take any accountability for the drama he’d stirred up on board. Instead, Joe hid from his responsibility and caused drama to go further than necessary.

Joe Shouldn’t Return For Below Deck Med Season 10

He May Be Coming Back For Another Season

Although the love triangle of Below Deck Med season 9 was entertaining for some time, it didn’t stay that way throughout the season. Instead, the love triangle quickly became stale, and Joe’s genuine issues with his job came into play. He was, at the end of the day, a poor enough deckhand that he shouldn’t be welcomed back into the crew with open arms. Instead, Captan Sandy should allow his far more skilled counterpart, Nathan, to return to Below Deck Mediterranean season 10 to show off his genuine abilities on the exterior team, leaving Joe behind.
