The actor was cleared physically following a series of tests and slated to be out of the facility on Sunday, insiders told TMZ.

In the Beastmaster franchise, he played Dar in the 1982 film, the 1991 sequel Beastmaster 2: Through the Portal of Time and the 1996 TV film Beastmaster III: The Eye of Braxus.
Singer, speaking with AV Club in 2024, he said that his casting in The Beastmaster was a result of his past work in 'Shakespeare, doing The Taming Of The Shrew.
'The writer/director Don Coscarelli had seen my performance in that, and he said, "That’s the guy I want to play Dar!" So there was really no casting. There was just a meeting.
'We met, and we had a conversation and, man, we got right at it! And the next thing I knew, I was being fitted for my little leather hula skirt, and off we went into the desert.'
He worked in the franchise again for the in 2001–2002, appearing on seven episodes of the adapted series in the role of Dartanus.
Singer in the V franchise played the role of Mike Donovan across 19 episodes in 1984–1985; three episodes in the mini-series V: The Final Battle in 1984; and two episodes in the 1983 miniseries V. He also played the role of Lars Tremont on the revived version of V in 2011.
On TV, he was most recently seen on The Varnell Hill Show earlier this year, and has also had stints on shows such as Beauty and the Beast in 2016, Arrow in 2015, and Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior in 2011.
He's also been seen in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show in 1998, Highlander in 1992, and Batman: The Animated Series in 1992.

In the 1970s, he appeared on TV projects including the miniseries Roots: The Next Generations, Jigsaw John, Barnaby Jones, Hawaii Five-O and Columbo.
The Hollywood veteran opened up on his life philosophies in a 2021 interview with NY Castings.
'I try to be a man of my word, fulfill my obligations and hope that my word works for good – or at least works good enough,' Singer said. 'I don’t know how I got that philosophy, but I’m guessing my upbringing had a lot to do with it.
'That and the good fortune of meeting some fine mentors along the way.'
He added, 'Other than my dad, I’d have to list so many more in that regard, that it’d just be a jumble of names, so just suffice it to say I’ve been well and truly schooled, and that some of it stuck.'
In the 2021 interview, Singer said major differences working on sets over the decades are the bright studio lights and presence of cigarettes.
'The lights that were required in the past could melt a candle at a hundred paces!' he said. 'They could ignite your hair at a fifty yards! Makeup ran in rivers down your spine. Retinas cringed in pain. The lights... now you can film practically in the dark.'
As for smoking, Singer said there 'used to be clouds of' cigarette smoke on the sets with cans everywhere to collect the butts.
