Balinese princess Lindy Klim is the queen of Derby Day in a stunning gold tiara... but misses the mark in a VERY daring lace black dress as she joins daughter Stella, 18, at Flemington Racecourse

She might be a Balinese princess, but Lindy Klim was the queen of Derby Day on Saturday.

The 45-year-old attended the spectacular event at Flemington Racecourse that kicked off the 2024 Melbourne Cup Carnival, accompanied by her 18-year-old daughter, Stella.

And despite recently splitting from her second husband Adam Ellis after six years of marriage, Lindy radiated joy in the exclusive Birdcage area, looking regal in a gold tiara that adorned her raven locks.

Aside from the pop of golden colour from her glittering tiara, Lindy went for an all black look for race day.

She showcased her svelte figure in a daring, form-fitting dress featuring strappy lace detailing and a cut-out under the bust that highlighted her toned midriff.

Lindy's dress was concealed underneath a smart cropped jacket with wide lapels.

She accessorised with a black polished calfskin Dolce & Gabbana handbag and a subtle gold ring that she wore on her right middle finger.

Lindy was joined by her eldest daughter Stella, 18, who opted for a similarly noir look to her mother.

Stella wore a sleeveless black top with a high neck and a matching form-fitting skirt.

She let her raven locks flow freely down her shoulders and accessorised with a large black headband.

While her mother chose gold to make her outfit pop, Stella went with silver, adding a chunky clutch to her ensemble.

She completed her race day outfit with some subtle silver accessories around her wrists.

Despite her recent marriage breakup, Lindy was all smiles as she posed for photographers in the Birdcage.

She looked every inch the doting mother as she proudly stood with her daughter Stella as they showcased their glamorous outfits.

Lindy shares Stella with first husband, Olympic swimmer Michael Klim along with Rocco, 16, and Frankie 13.

She also shares Goldie, seven, with second husband Adam Ellis.

Two years after her divorce from Michael in 2018, Lindy married Adam in a lavish Tuscan ceremony.

Lindy recently revealed she was starting from scratch again after splitting with Adam and relocating back to Australia from Bali.

Lindy shared two striking images of a Balinese sunrise with the caption: 'Last few hours in Bali, see you soon Melbourne.'

She also teased her return to Australia by uploading a video of herself and Stella modelling the Viktoria & Woods Spring collection on Instagram.

'Shopping the new collection just in time for our move back,' Lindy captioned the post as she modelled several ensembles with her daughter.

Friends and fans excitedly inquired as to Lindy's return date and she simply said: 'Soon.'

Speculation of a break-up between Lindy and her husband emerged last month, when the Balinese princess posed for a portrait with her four children - with no sign of Ellis.

After posting the image to Instagram, eagle-eyed followers noticed that Lindy was also no longer wearing her engagement ring.

An insider later claimed the pair have been well and truly over for some time.

'They have also not been seen together for a number of months,' an insider told Confidential.

'Plus he isn't in any of her social media photographs.'

Daily Mail Australia was the first to reveal a potential marriage breakdown between Lindy and Adam after the celebrity fashionista posted the tell-tale family photo to her social media.

Followers were quick to note Ellis' absence in the photo, as well as the missing large citrine engagement ring on her left hand wedding finger.

'My family, my world,' the Fig Femme founder captioned the photo.

The image includes all four of her children, and was taken by local photographer Nicole Riley.
