Bad Bunny Wipes His Instagram Account After Super Bowl 2026 Halftime Show Performance

Bad Bunny won’t be saying “cheese” anytime soon.

Hours after the Grammy winner dominated the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime show Feb. 8, he wiped his Instagram feed clean of every post.

And the 31-year-old didn’t stop there. Indeed, Bad Bunny (born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) also deleted his profile picture, as well as unfollowed every profile he used to interact with. The only trace that the Puerto Rican native left was a link to his 2025 album Debí Tirar Más Fotos in his bio.

As for why he made the drastic change to his social media page—and whether it’s a hint at new music to come—that remains to be seen. However, the move comes after his culturally rich Super Bowl halftime show at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., where the Seattle Seahawks beat the New England Patriots.

For the occasion, Bad Bunny donned an all-white outfit as he began his powerful performance with "Tití Me Preguntó" in a field of sugar canes as background dancers filled the field behind him. His set was a love letter to Puerto Rican culture, featuring older men playing dominoes, children sleeping on chairs at parties, village homes, and people enjoying piragua treats.

But what’s a Super Bowl halftime show without a few special guests? For the electric performance, Cardi B, Alix EarleJessica AlbaPedro Pascal and Karol G were among the stars on the field as he transitioned to "Yo Perreo Sola."

He also brought out Lady Gaga for a Latin-fusion version of her and Bruno Mars' "Die With a Smile,” as well as Ricky Martin who soulfully sang Bad Bunny’s "LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAii.”

Ahead of the performance, the “MONACO” rapper shared a glimpse into his star-studded lineup.

"I have a lot of guests," he said during the Apple Music press conference Feb. 5. "It's going to be my family, my friends and all the Latino community around the world that support me, the whole country. There's so many people who support me around the world."

And while he didn’t want to give too much away about his set, he ended up delivering exactly what he promised.

"I don't want to give any spoilers,” he explained. "It's gonna be fun. It's gonna be easy and people only have to worry about dancing."
