Back in Action features a massive twist involving its villain, one that is made even more devastating by one of the best sports shows of all time that ended 14 years ago. The cast of Back in Action is full of beloved actors, with each of them contributing to the twists and turns of Netflix's new action comedy film. However, the reveal of Back in Action's true villain is one the most would never see coming, and it is all thanks to the actor's previous television role.

Back in Action sees Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx reunite once again, with them playing a married couple of retired spies named Emily and Matt. Although they have been away from the mission field for 15 years, a viral video of them beating a group of guys up leads to their identities being leaked, allowing their former CIA boss and all kinds of enemies to locate them. While the danger is present from the very beginning, the identity of who is behind the plot against Emily and Matt remains a mystery until Back in Action's shocking twist reveal.

At the end of Back in Action, it is revealed that Chuck wants to get Balthazar Gor's key back and sell it for profit, while killing Emily and Matt is just a happy coincidence.
