AvengerDAO Security Marketplace grows to 17 firms after adding six new security providers

BNB Chain’s security bench just got deeper. Six new security firms have joined the AvengerDAO Security Marketplace, lifting the total roster to 17.

From 11 to 17 in a matter of weeks

The Security Marketplace launched on August 12, 2026, with an initial cohort of 11 carefully selected firms. By October 2026, that number had climbed to 17.

The marketplace is designed to connect developers building on BNB Chain with security firms that have already been screened.

One notable feature: projects can engage directly with the listed security firms. They do not need to submit a prior application first.

The marketplace also incorporates bug bounty support. Bug bounties pay outside researchers to find vulnerabilities before attackers do, essentially turning potential hackers into paid consultants.

The BNB-SS standard and how it fits in

Alongside the marketplace, AvengerDAO has introduced the BNB-SS security standard. It is built around five pillars, which include governance and oracle integrations among other areas.

Governance covers how a protocol makes decisions and who holds the keys to change things. Oracles are the data feeds that bring outside information, like asset prices, onto the blockchain.

A security initiative with a longer history

AvengerDAO itself is not new. It launched on September 20, 2022, as part of BNB Chain’s broader push to protect users against exploits and scams.

Early partners included CertiK, SlowMist, and PancakeSwap.

In 2025 alone, AvengerDAO’s risk APIs issued 38 million warnings.

The loss numbers tell the story

The most striking data point is the trend in BNB Chain’s security losses. According to the research findings, losses fell 85% in 2023.

The declines kept coming. Losses dropped 69% in 2024 and 56% in 2025, marking three consecutive years of reductions.

What this means for builders and users

For developers on BNB Chain, the expansion mainly means more choice. A pool of 17 vetted firms offers a better shot at finding an auditor with the right specialty, availability, and price point.

The no-application model also lowers the barrier for smaller teams.

The research findings frame the falling loss figures as a potential confidence boost for projects tied to AvengerDAO, and as a factor that could make BNB Chain-based projects more attractive to investors.
