The judges on Australian Idol made the most of the perfect weather on Wednesday when they headed out for lunch in Sydney

Amy Shark, Marcia Hines and host Ricki-Lee Coulter appeared in good spirits as they arrived at Woolloomooloo and made their way to Italian restaurant Otto for a long lunch.

The TV veterans were joined by country music star Morgan Evans, who's set to replace Kyle Sandilands following the radio titan's departure from the hit reality TV show.

Amy Shark cut a casual figure as she made her way down the Finger Wharf in a white button-up shirt paired with classic blue jeans

The 40-year-old completed her Canadian tuxedo look with a matching denim jacket, and wore a black bag slung over her shoulder.

Ricki-Lee, meanwhile, was dressed for the winter weather in an all-black look that consisted of a T-shirt and wide-legged trousers.

She added to her moody get-up with her beloved black trench coat, and matching designer shades to hide her famous face.

The 40-year-old appeared to take her hairstyling cues from Amy, scraping her brunette locks back off her face and tying her hair into a topknot.

Meanwhile, new judge Morgan was all smiles in his rodeo-ready get-up that consisted of a brown flannel shirt paired with blue jeans and brown boots.

The 41-year-old crooner also got the designer shade memo, hiding his eyes behind brown sunglasses.

While the judges sauntered in the sun, they enjoyed a giggle on their way to join Marcia.

The American-born Australian national treasure looked ready for spring, commanding attention in a yellow jacket and blue jeans.

The 73-year-old icon added to her casual fit with a classic white handbag, and allowed her famous voluminous locks to take centre stage.

Morgan was seen exiting the legendary lunch spot to take a call at one point.

Kyle Sandilands was forced to quit Australian Idol after online activist group the Mad F**king Witches attacked potential advertisers of the Channel Seven show.

The feminist group targeted Sandilands' corporate sponsors for years while he was on KIIS FM, accusing his show of 'violent misogyny', crude remarks and offensive on-air content.

Sandilands told The Sydney Morning Herald in July that he decided to step down from Idol to prevent more damage to the program.

'I spoke with Channel Seven this morning, and those activists have attacked the potential clients for Australian Idol or the clients from last year, and this has caused a problem in Channel Seven's sales team,' he said.

'So I've told Channel Seven this morning, just prior to speaking to you, that I'm standing down from Idol for the good of the brand to continue.'

Sandilands joined the third season of Australian Idol in 2005, replacing Ian 'Dicko' Dickson.

He remained on the show for four seasons, before Channel 10 rested the popular franchise in 2009.

In 2023, Sandilands joined the rebooted series on Channel Seven, alongside judges Harry Connick Jnr, Meghan Trainor and Amy Shark.

He recently launched his new streaming show, Kyle Sandilands Live.
