Aussie influencer stokes controversy by wearing a white dress to her father's wedding - and it's not the first time she's upstaged the bride

An Aussie TikTok influencer has seemingly upstaged the bride at her father's wedding over the weekend, and it's not the first time she's committed the faux pas.

Isabelle Mathers, 25, took to Instagram on Monday to share a series of pictures from her father's weekend nuptials.

Many of the images featured Isabelle's admittedly stunning dress - a form-fitting satin and lace gown made by New York based designer Danielle Guizio.

Isabelle shared one clip that showed her in her wedding garb seductively sashaying backwards from the camera as her partner, model Harri Musumeci watched on.

The dress appeared to be white, committing another wedding gaffe, but Isabelle claimed its colour was 'baby pink'.

The nuptials appeared to be a somewhat low-key and casual affair appearing to take place in what looked to be a backyard.

The bride wore a cute white and pink floral print dress that finished at the knee and a pair of bone coloured heels.

Her dad, meanwhile, took a casual approach in a pair of khaki chinos, and a short-sleeve white linen shirt that was unbuttoned at the chest.

The influencer, perhaps sensing online backlash, was quick to point out that it was not a 'traditional wedding'.

'Before anyone has something to say about my dress, it was not a traditional wedding,' Isabelle wrote.

'There was no dress code and dad's partner wore a floral dress and half the guests were wearing white.

'P.s, my dress is baby pink.'

It comes after Isabelle divided fans back in May after she upstaged the bride at her best friend's wedding, wearing an extravagant yellow-coloured gown.

She posted a reel of photos to Instagram of the glamorous sheer frock which featured a long train and a raunchy cut out framing her toned abs.

Standing next to the bride-to-be, fitness influencer Rachel Dillon who was marrying Kayla Itsines' ex Tobi Pearce, it was difficult to tell which woman was to be wed.

Rachel, 30, looked the angelic beauty in a short white off-the-shoulder dress which featured a very short hem, while Isabelle's look had a silhouette more commonly seen during nuptials.

According to the dates, Isabelle wore the attention-grabbing gown during the rehearsal dinner, where the other bridesmaids were also permitted to wear yellow, and not the actual wedding ceremony.

However, it seems the influencer's garb was the most extravagant of the lot, with Rachel's other friends opting for more demure looks during their friend's rehearsal.

Isabelle's followers were left divided in her comments, with many praising her look, while some slammed her choice in attire for a wedding weekend.

'Why wear a LONG, CREAM dress to your mates wedding... talk about pick me,' someone wrote.

Another added: 'Literally thinking the same. I feel sorry for the bride.'

Isabelle was quick to hit back at the naysayers, replying with: 'It's yellow, the bride is my best friend, she literally helped me choose every outfit I wore over her wedding weekend.'

Many of Isabelle's fans rushed to her defence, with one person writing: 'Did you look at their photos at all? All the bridesmaids were in cream/white. It was Rachel's choice.'

Another said: 'Do you even know what's going on? Or do you blindly hate on people. And do you even know what a "pick me" is? Stop spreading hate. And be kinder.'

'It was approved by the bride. You wanna be offended on behalf of her… get a life,' someone else added.

It's unclear what dresses the bridesmaids wore during the actual wedding ceremony, but Rachel was sure to steal the spotlight back with her jaw-dropping wedding dress.
