Astrologer Aliza Kelly Reveals Her 2026 Predictions for Each Zodiac Sign
Consider this your sign to back up those computer files, double-check any vacation plans and fire up a calming meditation or two because Mercury is about to do the damn thing.
As astrologer Aliza Kelly acknowledged in a Feb. 23 Instagram post, "Things are about to get really weird." Currently in the midst of eclipse season, we're headed toward an early March lunar eclipse in the sign of Virgo, which is ruled by Mercury, she continued and, "Yes, diva, Mercury Retrograde starts this week. Our first Mercury Retrograde of 2026 and its happening in the sign of Pisces."
While your standard Mercury Retrograde tends to throw pretty much everyone for a loop—as Mercury oversees all things communication, travel, news information and technology—it is particularly screwy when it takes place in the sign of Pisces, as it does in the 22-day stretch that kicks off on Feb. 26.
But it's not just bad news that's written in the stars.
"Interestingly, Mercury is also the ruler of the lunar eclipse," noted Kelly. "Mercury is in charge. And eclipses are linked to destiny and fate and karma."
Which means "if you have a prominent mutable energy in your chart," she continued, name-checking those with strong Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces ties, "I have to tell you, queen, it’s going to be a weird week. But, maybe through the weirdness, there’s also an opportunity to see a situation differently than you have ever encountered it before."
The way she sees it, "Maybe you are going to have the breakthrough, the download, the revelation that you have been so desperately craving to help you navigate the situation from a fresh perspective."
Though, while you're doing all that soul-gazing, do your best to avoid making any major life decisions, read your emails carefully and heed this advice that the Constellation Club founder illuminated for each sign.

Aries
Heads up, Rams, "This retrograde activates your interior world," Kelly told E! News in an exclusive interview. "Old memories, unfinished emotional business or subconscious patterns may resurface."
But don't feel you must tackle it all at once. Instead, think of this as a time to hibernate a bit. Stressed Kelly "You don't need to fix everything immediately. It's very un-Aries, but over the next few weeks, prioritize rest, therapy, journaling or quiet reflection."

Taurus
As Mercury begins its three-week backward spiral Feb. 26, "friendship and group dynamics require recalibration," Kelly detailed. "Miscommunications within your broader network are possible, especially around shared goals or expectations."
As such, suggested the Constellation Club founder, "Revisit collaborative plans, but avoid making final calls about relationships until late March."

Gemini
Fair warning, Gemini goddesses: "Since Mercury is your planetary ruler," noted Kelly, "you'll feel this retrograde more acutely."
So, take this as your sign to be kind to yourself as you endure this rewind. "Career matters may stall, pivot, or require revision—but keep in mind that these temporary slowdowns don't mean failure," emphasized Kelly, "they're opportunities to go deeper, strengthen your skills and refine your long-term goals."

Cancer
Sidle carefully these next few weeks, Crabs, as "your beliefs are shifting," the Horoscope Weekly podcaster shared. "Travel plans, educational pursuits, or even big-picture projects may need adjustment."
You may require recalibration at times as well. "If something challenges your worldview, don’t react defensively," Kelly advised. "This is a period for reconsidering perspective, not declaring absolutes."

Leo
As is common during Mercury Retrograde, "shared finances, debts, contracts and emotional entanglements are under review," said Kelly. "Transparency is essential, so if something feels unclear, ask for clarification."
Just do your best to tame the roar. "If your trust feels compromised, pause before escalating," she recommended. "Power dynamics are front-and-center right now—but tread lightly, as things may not be what they seem (for better and for worse)."

Virgo
Time to lean into your practical side, Virgos. "Since Mercury is your planetary ruler, you're more impacted by its retrograde motion than others," acknowledged Kelly. "This time, the effect is even more pronounced because the Mercury retrograde also coincides with a Lunar Eclipse in your sign."
As such, the stars are aligned for some deep talks. "This retrograde lands directly in your relationship sector, so old conversations with partners (romantic or professional) may resurface and challenge your point of view," Kelly detailed. "Listen carefully. Avoid assuming intent. Revisions in agreements are likely, but be sure to take your time with any major, final decisions that will be hard to change."

Libra
Your careful equilibrium may be shaken a bit these next few weeks as "routines, workflows and health habits are being audited under this retrograde," noted Kelly. "Expect scheduling disruptions, which will inevitably be annoying, but also an opportunity to refine daily systems rather than overhaul them entirely."
One piece of advice, she added: "Streamline before you expand."

Scorpio
Expect some cloudiness as Mercury does its thing, Scorps. "Creative projects and romantic dynamics may feel unclear over the next three weeks," shared Kelly. "Although your intuition is usually sharp, you may misinterpret texts, body language and even intentions themselves."
Just do your best to avoid going for the sting. "Resist reading into subtext without evidence," advised Kelly. "If inspiration slows, use the time to revise and refine rather than launch something new."

Sagittarius
As the ruler of all things communication does a loop-the-loop, said Kelly, "home and family matters require attention."
That means "conversations around living situations, boundaries or emotional foundations will rise to the top," she continued, "meaning you'll need to reevaluate what you actually believe in." Just be gentle with yourself. Said Kelly, "You are rewriting a foundational story—and, alas, that takes patience."

Capricorn
No surprise here, but "communication will be especially sensitive right now," said Kelly. "Emails, texts and negotiations require extra clarity, so think—and re-read, then re-read again—before you hit send."
And should misunderstandings arise, she continued, "correct them directly instead of letting them linger. Mercury Retrograde is not a hill you want to die on."

Aquarius
Now is definitely not the time to break the bank. "Financial situations may get a little screwy over the next few weeks," warned Kelly. "Budgeting, invoices, subscriptions and shared expenses deserve a second look."
And it's definitely not the time to play it fast and loose with your wallet. "Avoid major purchases unless necessary," recommended Kelly. "What feels urgent now will undoubtedly look different in three weeks."

Pisces
It's your moment, Pisces. "This retrograde is happening in your sign, so this will be a major moment for you," shared Kelly. "Your identity, confidence and perception of self are shifting, which is ultimately a good thing, but may feel destabilizing in the moment."
Over the next three weeks, "You may question decisions, dynamics or even the long-term goals you've worked toward for many years," she continued. "With Mercury Retrograde and eclipse season happening in tandem, be sure to give yourself space to reconsider who you are becoming before making any massive declarations to the world. Big pivots deserve time."
