As was showcased by user Zephryss on X, there is a particular building found in the Rift that is a teaser for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Hexe, even if the words aren’t directly mentioned.

The big thing about this building in Black Flag Resynced is that it is seemingly a recreation of the Saint Lorenz Church in Nuremberg, Germany, as is highlighted by ThePunisher on X. Ubisoft has not confirmed the setting for Hexe, apart from the fact that it will take place in 16th-Century Central Europe during the witch trials. Saint Lorenz Church’s construction ended in 1477. On top of that, leaks have pointed to Nuremberg as one of the destinations in the game. This likely means that this church is actually a small teaser for the release of Assassin’s Creed Hexe.

Assassin's Creed Fans Are About To Be In "Parkour Heaven"

If this proves to be true, players may be in for a whole lot of “parkour heaven,” as was described by Zephryss. If the architecture of the Saint Lorenz Church is to be taken as a foundation of what may be, the cities in Assassin’s Creed Hexe may be huge and very vertical, allowing for a ton of parkour. The freerunning system in Assassin’s Creed has taken a hit since the franchise turned to its RPG-style gameplay.

Even if it was revisited in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, players still miss the good old days, where freerunning was the bread and butter of gameplay. It’s best to wait for more official information from Ubisoft.
