The new season of Married At First Sight is off to a sensational start, rocked by a string of scandals - several of them revolving around bride Brook Crompton.
After news broke last week that the 27-year-old part-time model had reconnected with her ex while still part of the experiment - and that she was now pregnant with his child - the Mail can reveal another explosive secret.
In photos obtained by Daily Mail, Brook was seen sporting what looked to be an engagement ring, confirming a rumour about her that had been swirling for weeks.
Despite recently denying she was hiding any 'big news', Brook let the cat out of the bag while on a solo walk on the Gold Coast last Tuesday.
Going makeup free, she cut a casual figure in a loose-fitting jumper, black and white shorts and lilac Crocs. She seemingly tried to keep the ring away from prying eyes, using the sleeve of her jumper to cover her hand.
But Brook's ruse was exposed when she took a phone call, accidentally exposing the ring in full view of our photographer.

Right as this story was published, news broke that Brook had given a tabloid magazine the 'exclusive' story of her pregnancy and engagement.
'It was a total betrayal of the experiment and everyone is filthy about it,' an insider told the Mail.
'It's like, why the hell was she on the show at all? Someone else should have had her spot.'
Fans were equally enraged, flocking to social media on Sunday night to complain about her ruining the season.
'The show is only just airing. Why do they do this?' asked one. Another added: 'How is this not embarrassing?'
One viewer shrewdly pointed out: 'How is that not against her contract?'
It comes after we revealed Brook was the bride accused of secretly rekindling things with a former flame while still filming the show - and that man is the father of her unborn child.
In footage obtained by the Mail, Brook was seen kissing her ex-boyfriend Harry as the pair decorated a Christmas tree together last October.

It was unusually early for festive celebrations - but the more significant detail was that just weeks earlier, her on-screen marriage to Chris Nield had fallen apart while they were filming the show in Sydney.
The intimate video showed Brook and Harry embracing inside an apartment.
For the cast and crew, the reveal was less a shock, and more confirmation of what many had already suspected: Brook hadn't cut ties with her ex and Chris never stood a chance.
According to insiders, Brook 'friend-zoned' Chris from the start. Their relationship never progressed beyond surface-level banter - presumably because her heart lay elsewhere.
Her lack of interest was compounded during Revelations Week when Brook was shown Chris' MAFS audition tape and was 'completely turned off by the attention-seeking, f**kboy energy,' according to an insider.
'After that, she mentally checked out,' they added.
From that point on, sources say Brook felt obligated to stay on the show because she was being encouraged by producers - even though she knew that her future lay with Harry.
Several cast members claim she flew home to the Gold Coast on the weekends she was permitted to leave the experiment, citing 'modelling gigs' as the reason.
But whispers soon began circulating in cast group chats that something else was going on.
'People started questioning why she needed to be home so often,' a source said. 'There was speculation she was trying to work things out with her ex.'
The accusation that a bride had secretly flown home mid-season to reconnect with an ex was previously described by one production source as 'the ultimate betrayal of the experiment'.
After ending the call, and stopping to inspect some flora, Brook continued to display the ring

The Daily Mail can also reveal that Brook was still publicly referring to Harry as her boyfriend as recently as April, just three months before production began on MAFS
Weeks earlier, Brook had denied to the Mail that she was hiding 'big news', after declining Channel Nine's invitation to attend the MAFS reunion, which was filmed in November. (Brook is pictured with her on-screen husband Chris Nield)
The Daily Mail also revealed that Brook was still publicly referring to Harry as her boyfriend as recently as April, just three months before production began on MAFS.
In a TikTok video, which remains live on her account, Brook referred to Harry as her partner, fuelling questions about how emotionally available she really was heading into the experiment.
By October last year, the pair appeared well and truly back together - and Brook's personal life continued to spark speculation after filming wrapped.
She was spotted in Brisbane's James St precinct days ago, where she appeared visibly pregnant, according to the Courier Mail.

At about the same time, whispers in MAFS cast member group chats suggested that Harry had proposed during a romantic trip to Aspen.
Brook denied the engagement rumours at the time. Our photos tell another story.
