Britta DeVore is a Senior Author for Collider who has been known to dabble with Reality News as well.

Have you seen stories about 'Chucky,' 'Scream,' 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' 'The Boys,' 'Vanderpump Rules,' or any of 'The Real Housewives' franchises? That's probably a Britta DeVore-curated piece of art, and it sounds like you have great taste.

When she isn't sitting behind her laptop bringing readers her hot takes on upcoming projects or keeping the dream alive in the Senior News team, Britta can usually be found outside hiking or inside behind her drum set. She currently plays in two bands, Kid Midnight and Watergate, both based in Brooklyn. An obsessive traveler, Britta loves long road trips to the South West and has a soft spot in her heart for canyons, rivers, and forests.

She also has a tiny cat named Athena that she loves more than anything else in the world and is always happy for new brewery recs.

If you look at the charts, Apple TV is currently showing other streamers how it’s done thanks to titles like Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Hijack, Shrinking, and The Last Thing He Told Me. The platform is overflowing with original content that deeply resonates with its audience and has been able to churn out hit after hit across multiple genres. Next, the studio will attempt to up the ante with all new titles, including the Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington and Kate Mara-led Imperfect Women, with Anya Taylor-Joy’s espionage drama, Lucky, following shortly on its steps.

And then there are the preexisting shows like Monarch: Legacy of Monsters that audiences can’t wait to catch back up on. In a little under one month, Jon Hamm will return to the affluent world of Your Friends & Neighbors for a second season, while audiences are still holding their breath for more news about when to expect the eagerly anticipated third season of the streamer’s smash hit, Severance. Sadly, one title won’t be returning for another round on the platform, as it’s been revealed that one of Apple TV’s greatest undersung comedies has been canceled.

The abundance of sunshine is officially over for Apple TV’s comedy Palm Royale as, according to a new report, the title has been axed from the streamer’s catalogue of content. After two seasons of climbing the rungs of the status ladder alongside Kristen Wiig’s (Saturday Night Live) Maxine Dellacorte-Simmons, the studio has officially canned the three-time Emmy Award-nominated project. The series followed Wiig’s character as she attempted to shake enough hands and attend enough socials to make her way into the Palm Beach community in 1969.

Who Else Was Behind ‘Palm Royale’?

Along with Wiig, the project featured a standout ensemble that also included Carol Burnett (Hacks), Laura Dern (Big Little Lies), Ricky Martin (The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story), Josh Lucas (Sweet Home Alabama), Amber Chardae Robinson (Moving On), Leslie Bibb (The White Lotus), Julia Duffy (Designing Women) and Mindy Cohn (The Facts of Life). The title hailed from producer and showrunner Abe Sylvia, who previously held credits on such favorites as Dead to Me, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, and George & Tammy.

Sadly, we’ll never see what Sylvia and the rest of the creative team had planned for the future of Palm Royale, but you can stream both seasons in their entirety now on Apple TV.
