WARNING: This article includes major spoilers from the first two episodes of The Boys season 5.

Keep the tissues coming because The Boys season 5 isn't done with breaking hearts across the world.

In an exclusive interview with ScreenRant's Liam Crowley for The Boys season 5, Homelander and Billy Butcher actors, Antony Starr and Karl Urban, as they dived into spoiler territory following the first two episodes, as A-Train met his fate and was killed off. Urban began with sharing, "But that would not, but that was indicative of actually the entire season as various characters meet their fate. Not only have we grown close to these characters on the show, but us as actors, but we also felt that if we are feeling this way about the circumstances of what's happening on the show, then we're very confident that it's going to translate to the audience and we can't wait for you guys to see it."

Starr, whose character was the one to execute A-Train at the end of The Boys season 5 premiere, promised that the show is far from done with axing long-time characters. The fellow New Zealand actor shared, "Oh, buddy. Nobody's safe. Nobody on the show is safe, period. I'm so scared of giving a spoiler away because there's so much good stuff ahead and yeah, people are going to get rocked."

While The Boys timeline has seen numerous major characters get taken out, the final season is bound to take it to the next level. As A-Train's run in the franchise has come to an end, it raises the question of what other key players will meet their doom by the time they reach the end of the season. Another huge character who almost didn't make it out in the first two episodes of The Boys season 5 was Jensen Ackles' Soldier Boy, as the second installment saw him wake up at the very end.
