Annie Kilner is 'tempted to set the record straight' over wayward Kyle Walker on Celebrity Big Brother and 'could be swayed by a huge fee' - as ITV 'offer £750,000' for her signature

Kyle Walker's beleaguered wife Annie Kilner hasn't ruled herself out of 'setting the record straight' on Celebrity Big Brother - with ITV willing to pay her a £750,000 appearance fee. 

Producers for the long-running reality juggernaut are understood to be keen on signing Kilner ahead of the latest series in the hope that she might reveal tantalising details about her separation from the England international. 

Walker, 34, is currently in Italy after securing a dream loan move to Serie A giants AC Milan, where he hopes to recapture his waning form and retain a place in the international fold under new Three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel. 

But the full back's wife has remained at home in Cheshire with their four children while he embarks on his Italian adventure, and sources claim a foray into reality TV could give her a unique opportunity show the public 'who she really is.'

A TV insider told MailOnline: 'As always with celebrity shows, lots of names get tossed around and there's always a couple that gets everyone buzzing. Right now, it's Annie. 

'Everyone knows how big it would be to get her. Like Coleen Rooney, the public absolutely adore her and she hasn't really had an opportunity to show who she is beyond the gossip.

'It's a long shot, but perhaps the temptation to set the record straight alongside a huge fee might just sway her! For now, the producers have confirmed that all names out there at the moment are just speculation.'  

Friends had previously claimed her marriage to Walker is 'worse than ever' after he agreed to his continental move without consulting her first. 

A source told The Sun: 'That's how strained things are at the moment. It's as bad as it's ever been. He didn't even sit her down and discuss moving to Italy. He just said "I'm going, it's up to you if you come with me".

'They're not in a great place and are barely talking. It's still unclear if Annie will actually join him permanently in Italy.

'Everything is up in the air but, then again, it's been like this ever since the scandal was exposed.'

Walker was asked to leave the family home after confirming he'd secretly fathered two children with influencer Lauryn Goodman, the second conceived during his marriage to Kilner. 

Despite rumours of a multi-million pound divorce, an olive branch appeared to materialise and Walker eventually returned to their Cheshire mansion, where he spent Christmas with his wife and children. 

But he has since relocated to Italy after struggling for form with Manchester City, with Kilner failing to join him for his official unveiling at Milan's San Siro Stadium. 

It's understood that ITV had initially approached Lauryn Goodman with the opportunity to appear on Celebrity Big Brother, but have now got their hearts set on Kilner.  

'It could be the start of a new career for Annie and an exciting move,' a source told The Sun. 

'Producers dropped Lauryn for Annie, as they knew landing Annie would be a massive boost, as she has never publicly spoken about the dramas of her marriage to Kyle.

“They’re prepared to set a new precedent with fees, too, and have deep pockets. After seeing pal Coleen do so well in the jungle, it has given Annie the confidence to branch out herself.' 

A spokesman for the show said: 'All names are purely speculation at this stage.'
