Anitta, Edgar Barrera, Becky G, Eladio Carrión, Kali Uchis, as well as previous nominees Pitbull and Reik have been added as performers for the upcoming Latin Grammy Awards in Miami on Nov. 14.
Also on the lineup are current nominees Darumas, Emilia, Leonel García, Grupo Frontera, Danny Ocean, Silvia Pérez Cruz and Carlos Rivera. Already a jam-packed showing, these artists join previously announced performers David Bisbal, Alejandro Fernández, Luis Fonsi, Juan Luis Guerra, Carín León, Elena Rose and Ela Taubert, as well as the 2024 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year, Carlos Vives.
Barrera is the leading nominee with nine recognitions in some of the most coveted fields (including record and album of the year). He is nominated as both songwriter and producer of the year for a second consecutive time. Bad Bunny and Karol G have eight nominations each, followed by Juan Luis Guerra with five, and Feid, Kany García, Carin Leon and Kali Uchis each boast four.
The three-hour telecast will be produced by TelevisaUnivision and will air live on Univision, UniMás, Galavisión and ViX beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT, preceded by a one-hour pre-show starting at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
Other key nominees include Ángela Aguilar, Camilo, Xande de Pilares, Mon Laferte, Residente and Shakira, all of whom are up against Karol, García, Guerra and León for album of the year. The Latin Grammys will happen in Miami this year, marking the Spanish-language awards show’s return to the United States just one year after it was moved to Spain.
