With a character representing each of the 23 cats in-game, it's very strange to see the cats take on a new form. First introduced on the Wii in 2006, players have been able to make creative versions of themselves and other people as Mii characters for some time now. While it's not as commonly used on Nintendo consoles nowadays, players can find a basic Mii creator in the Switch settings to make any character they wish. Though most would opt to create actual humans, the Animal Crossing player Worldly_Pumpkin2918 decided to think a little bit more outside the box.
There are over 400 unique villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and each of the twelve zodiac signs has one that best matches them.
Re-creating the abundance of Animal Crossing cat villagers into strange human-like Miis, this player has very accurately managed to capture the likeness of many. While they're missing their cat ears, each of the 23 cats are still very much distinguishable as their own separate characters. Even the more unique characters of the bunch like Ankha and Tangy look oddly correct, as though this Mii form could actually be a reality.

Eager fans swarmed the comments to request more recreations of their favorite villagers, with the player sharing that "eventually I want to Mii-ify every villager." With some of the most beloved characters like Marshal requested among the squirrels, it's no surprise that this wacky idea would take off. As everyone hopes to see a funny but bizarrely accurate version of their villagers, this player will definitely have a job for them moving forward.
One commenter even shares a way for these characters to be available to all, suggesting "If you download the miitopia demo, You could upload all of these on there and anyone can download these with the code!" If players wanted to, it would be possible for everyone to work together to create these hilarious depictions of all the in-game villagers, allowing everyone to access them. By bringing this creative vision to life, this player has definitely brought some new life back into Animal Crossing.
