Andor Reactions Hail Season 2 as an Excellent End

1 day ago 22

Good news, Andor fans: sounds like season two more than sticks the landing.

Following the first episode’s premiere at Star Wars Celebration Japan, social media impressions began pouring in for the entire season. Much like the first, there’s been pretty high praise praise even amid critiques of it being a bit scattershot because of its “three episodes=one year” structure. Despite that, those with early access do feel the show ends in a complete, decisive way overall. It doesn’t look like it’ll be beating the “best Star Wars in years” allegations any time soon, and will enrich eventual later viewings of both Rogue One and Star Wars Rebels. Check out the reactions below, which are galatically high.

#ANDOR Season 2 is phenomenal. Often series reactions are done having seen just a few episodes, but not this time around. I’ve seen the full season and can wholeheartedly say, this is the best season of Star Wars TV I have ever seen. pic.twitter.com/P0c3TtCMbf

ANDOR SEASON 2 is phenomenal! It’s exhilarating, intriguing, & full of heart-stopping & gut-wrenching moments as it walks us into the start of Rogue One. Diego Luna & Stellan Skarsgård are once again incredible. Welcome to the Rebellion! It’s great to be back #Andor #SWCJ pic.twitter.com/jM5bkOhClG

I have seen all of #Andor season 2 and this is not just the best Star Wars show, but the best TV show I've seen all year, period. Utterly riveting, emotionally devastating storytelling. It makes not only Rogue One but even Rebels better. 💫 pic.twitter.com/pawpNINOhP

#Andor Season 2: Episodes 1-5 are good, but it kicks into another gear entirely with episode 6 and rarely lets up. It's the standard by which all future Star Wars will be measured. Superb TV. pic.twitter.com/zy42Vhvpit

I’ve seen ALL of #Andor season 2 and it’s both Star Wars at its absolute best and a triumph of storytelling in general.

I cried, I cheered, I laughed, I gasped. It’s smart, sophisticated, propulsive, entertaining and hugely resonant. Everything you want & more. It’s a miracle. pic.twitter.com/nsK8gnaRfq

Look for more substantial reviews from press (including us!) on Monday, April 21. Three episodes will air each week from that point on, and we’ll have our recaps and thoughts on these arcs shortly after they air.
