Amy Schumer Shares a Look Inside Her “Dream Home” After Chris Fischer Breakup
Amy Schumer’s home is anything but a trainwreck.
Five months after she confirmed her breakup with husband Chris Fischer, the 44-year-old is sharing a glimpse at her new digs—complete with a view of New York City’s Central Park.
Among the highlights included in her roundup were a dining room and living room adorned with abstract art and furniture in various shades of pink.
“Thank you @ashleyanle @ashe_leandro @arielashe for helping me [create] my dream home,” Amy wrote in a May 7 Instagram post praising her interior designers. “I’m grateful every single day. Beautiful and filled with love. I know I know but it’s true. I never dreamed I would get to live somewhere like my home.”
Though Amy didn’t make the move to Manhattan—where she settled in a $6.25 million condo in January—until after selling her and Chris’ Brooklyn townhouse, the new borough had been on her mind for some time.
And it all came down to the former couple’s son Gene’s school, telling the Wall Street Journal in March 2025, “He got into a good school and we're too lazy to commute 45 minutes to take our son to school every day."
The new home isn’t the only milestone that Amy has been celebrating lately. She recently commemorated throwing her “first bday party as a single mom” when her son turned 7. To mark the occasion, the Inside Amy Schumer alum got her son a cake decorated with ninja stars, a sword, a ninja topper, and a banner that said, “Happy 7th Birthday Gene!”
And while she may have thrown the birthday bash herself, she has previously made it clear that her split from Chris was amicable and the two continue to co-parent their kid.
"We love each other very much,” Amy wrote in her divorce announcement last December, “and will continue to focus on raising our son."
And now that you’ve seen Amy’s new home with Gene, read on to look at some more sweet family moments from the comedian…
