Amy Adams revealed she is a 'much more feral person than people expect' in a new interview on Tuesday.
The actress, 50, also revealed she enjoyed letting herself go for the role in her latest film Nightb***h as she discussed the project on Capital Radio.
The Enchanted star explained she felt she was able to tap into her 'animalistic side' to prepare her for the part of an artist who fears she is turning into a dog as she pauses her career to be a stay-at-home mum.
Amy told DJ's Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby that she was able to completely let go and she enjoyed not adhering to other's expectations.
She said: 'It was really freeing because like some roles require a lot more vanity and the character has a lot more well vanity I suppose.
'And this one is like you’re just letting go of everything and getting in touch with something really free and really not tied to anyone else’s expectations.

She said: 'No, no, no I’m not one to crawl on all fours but I will say I’m a much more I think feral person than people would expect.'
Clarifying her position, Amy explained she feels more connected with nature, telling the radio show hosts: 'No, you know I’m just a little more natural and connected with the Earth and all of that.'
