‘American Pie’ Star Shannon Elizabeth Joins OnlyFans At 52
Shannon Elizabeth’s next career move is no pie-in-the-sky.
More than two decades after starring in the raunchy comedy American Pie, the actress announced she’s joining OnlyFans, noting that the time felt right to finally reclaim her sexuality.
“I've spent my entire career working in Hollywood, where other people controlled the narrative and the outcome of my career,” Shannon told People in an interview published on April 16. “This new chapter is about changing that, showing off a more sexy side no one has seen, and being closer to my fans.”
“I'm choosing OnlyFans because it allows me to connect directly with my audience, create on my own terms, and just be free,” the 52-year-old continued, “I really do think this is the future.”
This wouldn’t be the first time Shannon has leaned into her sexy side. After all, she rose to fame in 1999, playing foreign exchange student Nadia in American Pie, alongside Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott and Eugene Levy.
The film—which followed a group of high school friends determined to lose their virginity before graduation—featured several NSFW moments, including Shannon’s nude scene. But that spicy movie moment ultimately cemented her status as a sex symbol in the late 90s and early 2000s.
In fact, Shannon even previously credited those scenes for her career success.
“If I hadn’t done the nudity,” she said in the 2020 documentary Skin: A History Of Nudity In The Movies, per USA Today, “I might not have a career today."

However, the Scary Movie star recently admitted that her onscreen persona couldn’t be further from who she is at her core.
“For me, it was a role, it was playing a character,” Shannon told Entertainment Tonight in March. “But even in my real life, I’m just not the girl that likes to be naked, ever.”
“Even at home I’m always covered up,” she added. “Like I have friends that sleep in the nude and they don’t mind walking around that way. That was never me, but because that was kind of my coming out, everyone assumed I was that girl.”
And even though there’s been some controversy over whether the film holds up today, Shannon—who went on to star in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Thirteen Ghosts and Love Actually—still believes the comedy was life-changing for her.
“Everything that I’ve done in my life,” she told ET, “is because of American Pie.”

Jessie Cave
The Harry Potter alum announced in March 2025 she had joined the platform to focus on very niche and non-sexual content.
"It's very much geared toward people who have an interest or fetish with hair,” Jessie said on her Before We Break Up Again podcast. “I really am choosing to think of this as an empowering moment for me because I have been this very straight, prim actress for a lot of my career and this is very much a way of me saying, 'Okay, I'm doing something that is not normal. This is weird and me and a bit kinky. And why not?’"

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum joined OnlyFans in 2022 after her daughter Sami Sheen—who she shares with ex-husband Charlie Sheen—started her own account on the subscription-based platform known for hosting NSFW content.
"My daughter got a lot of backlash for opening the account," she told KTLA at the time. "I had heard of OnlyFans but I wasn't educated on what OnlyFans was and once I started to learn about it, I really think that the creators of the site really took the best of every platform of social media and put it into one site. You own your content. The other sites, they can sell your content."

That's not what I do and I don't want to take it away from the people that are doing that. I just want to be artistic and stay in touch with my fans."
