America's Got Talent winner Grace VanderWaal has cancelled her upcoming tour dates.

The 22-year-old singer, who lost her mom in October, was scheduled to join Natalie Jane for multiple dates on her The World I Didn't Want Tour.

But on Tuesday she alerted fans that she will not be performing, taking to Instagram to share the update.

'Hi everyone, it's been a bit,' she wrote in white font against a black background. 'I'm happy to be back and talk to y'all. I unfortunately will not be going on the Natalie Jane tour due to mental health. I've been struggling for a while and am choosing myself in this moment.'

She added, 'I love you Natalie and know you're going to kill it, and I'm sorry to anyone who's disappointed. I love you so much and will be singing very soon. Thank you guys for understanding.'

VanderWaal wrote in the accompanying caption, 'I apologize, sending love to all of you.'

On January 1 VanderWaal promised fans 'lots of music and projects to come this year.'

And in early February she promoted her song Prettier, teasing on Instagram, 'Can't wait to sing this with you live.'

The tour cancellation news comes less than five months after VanderWaal's mother Tina died from cancer at age 53.

The former child star announced the sad news last October, writing on Instagram that she couldn't yet 'find the words.'

Sharing photos of her late mom, she wrote, 'I love you mommy. So much. I wake up and want to call you. I don't know how to move forward without you. I love you.'

On Christmas day she reminisced about spending quality time with her mom in 2024, sharing throwback photos.

She wrote, 'Merry Christmas, mom. I miss your voice. Everything feels lonely without you. Trying for you. I wish I could talk to you. Nothing is the same.'
