Amanda Bynes Makes Rare Public Appearance Hosting Art Show in Los Angeles
Amanda Bynes thinks that 50 Cent is the man.
The Nickelodeon alum, 38, recently attended the “P.I.M.P.” rapper’s Las Vegas residency and appeared extremely grateful for getting to spend time with him backstage.
In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter) Dec. 30, Amanda posed for a picture with 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) during a meet-and-greet and thanked him generously for his time, saying, “Thank you so much.”
For the snap, she sported her blonde hair slicked back, a navy blue jacket and an all-white ‘fit underneath, including white sneakers, while holding up a peace sign.
For his part, the “In da Club” rapper, 49, smiled wide while rocking an all-black leather outfit complete with a jacket covered in logo patches, Nike sneakers and a Yankees ballcap.
During their time together, Amanda reportedly also told 50 Cent about a screenplay she has been working on, as well as how big of a fan she is of him, according to Complex.
The Las Vegas outing for the Easy A actress is the latest in a string of recent public appearances for the child star, who has remained mostly out of the public eye in recent years.
Earlier this month, she cohosted an art show and clothing pop-up with apparel designer Austin Babbitt in West Hollywood, Calif., where she exhibited some of her own creations, including art pieces with titles such as "Stars," "Grey," "Night," and "Lavender Dreams."
When announcing the show in October, Amanda—who graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2019—wrote on her Instagram Stories of the collaboration, "My associate's of art degree majoring in product development at FIDM paid off."

In November, Amanda gave another rare peek into her personal life when she shared on Instagram that she was “down 6lbs” and continuing to focus on her health journey. The weight loss update was the newest milestone since she revealed on her Instagram Story earlier in the year that she had “gained over 20lbs in the past few months from being depressed."
"I'm doing a lot better now,” she wrote at the time, “and have learned to do opposite action when I don't feel like working out or eating clean."
