Amanda Bynes was 'happy and relaxed' while hosting an art show in Los Angeles that helped to showcase her 'latest love', according to sources who have confirmed that it would take a 'minor miracle' for the star to return to acting.
Over the weekend, the 38-year-old former actress held a pop-up event in Los Angeles which was attended by the likes of singer Noah Cyrus.
The art show - in collaboration with fashion designer Austin Babbitt, aka Asspizza - highlighted the star's continued love for art and fashion following her graduation from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
Now sources have exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com that the former child star is set to focus all of her efforts and attention on her aspiring fashion career - and has no intention of stepping back into the acting world.
'This is and was a tremendous step forward for Amanda,' the insider began. 'She will be going through her mental health struggles for the rest of her life but to be out and about and share with friends and fans and to be around her latest love, her art was exactly what she needed.'
Indeed, the actress quit acting in 2010 and went on to have highly-publicized mental health struggles which resulted in her being placed under a legal conservatorship overseen by her parents for nine years.

However, the star has been turning her life around as she pours her heart into her creative pursuits.
The source noted that the success of the recent art show has spurred the star on to keep going as they added: 'It was relief and put her mind at ease and she was just happy and relaxed.
'It didn't start out that way as she was worried about how people would take it, but it was as much of a success that it could possibly be.
'She’s hoping to do more of it in the new year, because her returning to acting on an active basis is just not going to happen.'
Opening up further about the star's attitude towards acting, the source explained: 'For her to return to acting would take a minor miracle, it is just something that she doesn't want to dive into anymore.
'She's lived that life and she finds it more important to do other things and with her art and design, that is what she enjoys doing and wants to put her full attention toward.'
The insider mused that the only way fans might see the star back on screen would be in a very limited capacity.
'If she were to do any future acting, it would be limited and almost as a favor to a friend,' the source dished. 'But don't hold your breath.'

The insider noted that art has played a key part in her maintaining her wellbeing as they continued: 'Amanda uses her art as a coping mechanism and she is in a much better place than she has been as of late.
'People who are close to her are championing her to attack this new world with all of her ability because seeing her happy is amazing.'
The source confirmed that the Easy A star's loved ones are feeling extremely optimistic about her future as they stated: 'If this is the catalyst to make her better and healthier, this would be a dream come true for so many people that love Amanda. Hope is at an all time high.'
The pop-up show held at the PLANTS + SPACES store included 'art and clothing,' according to People - and the event was sold out, according to the link in Amanda's Instagram account.
'My associate's of art degree majoring in product development at FIDM paid off,' the actress-turned-designer wrote on an Instagram Story post in October.
So far, Amanda and Asspizza have announced they have collaborated on a T-shirt, which features a drawing of a woman on the back, and one pair of shorts, available in black, white or gray.
The designer shared video of the shirts being printed on Instagram.
The success of the show highlights the progress the star has made after she was placed under a psychiatric hold for 72 hours in 2013 after starting a fire in a stranger's driveway.

She was then put under a conservatorship held by her mother Lynne - one that lasted for nine years until it was dissolved in 2022 with her parents' approval.
Last year, Amanda was reportedly placed in a psychiatric hold after she was found 'roaming the streets naked and alone,' according to TMZ.
She allegedly took matters into her own hands to get the help she required, beckoning a passing car and dialing 911, it was claimed.
Her parents reportedly did not attempt to restore her conservatorship, as they took note of the fact she realized she was unwell and sought treatment herself.
In early November, Amanda revealed she had lost six pounds on her weight loss program, which includes walking and eating healthy. She recently shared she had walked nearly 15,000 steps and had burned up to 481 calories on a particular day.
In March, the What A Girl Wants star said she had gained 20 pounds due to depression.
'I’m doing a lot better now and have learned to do opposite action when I don’t feel like working out or eating clean,' she revealed on social media.
'I weigh 162 lbs right now and want to get back to 110 lbs,' she told her fans.

In 2015, five years after she appeared in her last movie Easy A and retired from acting, she confessed she had 'definitely abused Adderall' to shed pounds.
She discovered she could take the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder medication to lose weight while she was filming the 2007 remake of the classic John Waters film Hairspray.
During the shoot, she happened upon a magazine article that referred to Adderall as 'the new skinny pill' and discussed 'how women were taking it to stay thin. I was like: "Well, I have to to get my hands on that."'
Amanda acquired a prescription to the amphetamine by visiting 'and faking the symptoms of ADD,' she admitted to Paper magazine.
She frankly addressed her body image issues in 2013, sharing on social media: 'I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin.'
