Alyssa Milano Opens Up About the Challenges of Playing Roxie Hart in ‘Chicago’ on Broadway
Alyssa Milano is entering a new chapter like a boss.
The Charmed alum showcased a fresh-faced look on social media for her birthday and also shared an empowering message to both her fans and her haters.
"This is 52. No make up. No filters. Happiness," Alyssa wrote on Instagram Dec. 19. "Sprinkle that s--t everywhere."
The actress continued, "I love you all. Even the trolls. If you can hate a stranger—I can love a stranger. So…I love you."
She later added an edit. "Yes," she wrote, "my eyebrows are micro-bladed."
Alyssa made her comments more than a month after she deactivated her account on X, formerly Twitter, where she was active for years and often clapped back at her haters.
Indeed, it’s been a year of change for the actress, who continues to expresses her views regularly on other social media platforms and on her Sorry Not Sorry podcast. Alyssa made her Broadway debut in September, playing Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago.
"My daughter just looked at me dead in the eye and she was like, 'You'd be an idiot not to do this,'" the former child star—who shares kids Milo, 13, and Elizabella, 10 with husband David Bugliari—told E! News in September, joking, "I didn't have a stage mom, I had a stage daughter. I was like, 'Okay, okay.'"

Alyssa said performing on Broadway was difficult for her and that her daughter helped her through it.
"I've always been honest about the hard things in life," she shared, "and there have been some days where I've just called her and cried about missing them but also about the work just being really challenging, and she has been my rock, like, 'Yeah, some days are hard but you'll get it, just hang in there.'"
She continued, "So I'm very grateful to her and my son, because my son is a very competitive baseball player and I don't know how he goes out there and does what he does. And just to be able to look at my kids and say, well, they can do hard things and if they can do hard things, I can do hard things."
