Alyson Hannigan, 52, posts rare photo with lookalike daughter, 14, as fans say they're 'seeing double'

Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Alyson Hannigan wowed fans as she shared a sweet photo with her mini-me daughter recently.

The 52-year-old sitcom star uploaded a cheerful selfie with Keeva, 14, prompting excitement from followers who called the duo 'twins.'

'I was thinking did you randomly run into a fan who is your twin?!! But daughter. Daughter makes sense,' one fan commented, while another joked, 'Thought I was seeing double for a sec. Had to rub my eyes.'

Hannigan and the teenager enjoyed an outing at The Jellycat Cinema, an immersive pop-up at The Grove in Los Angeles.

'Had the BEST time at the @jellycat event. We had so much fun,' she gushed in the caption of her post.

In addition to Keeva, Hannigan shares daughter Satyana, 17, with husband Alexis Denisof, 60.

She also posted a photo of an intricate almond-shaped manicure executed by her older daughter as she noted: 'I could not be more grateful for this custom Jellycat manicure by my daughter @satyana_art.' 

The proud mother effused, 'Safe to say she’s the true artist in our family!'

Earlier this month, Hannigan took to Instagram to share a snapshot of Keeva on her first day of high school.

She uploaded a photo of the freshman holding a sign reading, 'So High School Class of 2030.'

The proud mom captioned: 'Back to school means back to sign making! 

'I obviously had to reference my favorite Taylor [Swift] song since I now have 2 High Schoolers.' 

Hannigan and Denisof tied the knot in 2003 – the same year the Sarah Michelle Gellar-led horror series Buffy the Vampire Slayer ended.

Hannigan's career-defining role as Willow Rosenberg lasted for seven seasons spanning six years.

A new Buffy the Vampire Slayer sequel series was announced in February 2025 but was scrapped by Hulu this past March. 

It was slated to star Ryan Kiera Armstrong as the new slayer and had Gellar attached to return as a recurring character.

The original show was a hit and cultural phenomenon. 

It became a huge success for the WB Network for its witty writing and Gellar's strong and complex lead character.

The series, based on the 1992 film starring Kristy Swanson, began in 1997.

Also in March, the Buffy cast mourned the loss of actor Nicholas Brendon, who starred as Xander Harris.
