Less than 30 minutes after Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay trailer debuted, a batch of particularly eager music lovers have already picked out all the songs that made an appearance. Rockstar peppered them throughout the trailer at various points, like when Jason is riding in an elevator and listening to Phil Collins or when "Devil Woman" plays during an extended Lucia segment.

But in some of the trailer's louder moments, it was a bit challenging to identify exactly who was singing what over the chorus of gunshots and general violence. Culture site Modern Notoriety, which normally covers shoes and streetwear, was one of the first to post a list of all 14 trailer songs on X.

  • Birdman & Lil Wayne: "Pop Bottles"
  • Sexyy Red & Tay Keith: "Pound Town"
  • Kodak Black: "Skrilla"
  • The Bellamy Brothers: "Let Your Love Flow"
  • Def Leppard: "Love Bites"
  • Depeche Mode: "People Are People"
  • Captain & Tennille: "But I Think It's a Dream"
  • Prefab Sprout: "Cars and Girls"
  • !!!: "Off The Grid" (ft. Meah Pace)
  • Cliff Richard: "Devil Woman"
  • Chimbala x Omega: "Se Me Nota"
  • Phil Collins: "Against All Odds"
  • Aluna & Jayda G: "Mine O' Mine"
  • Elderbrook & Bob Moses: "Inner Light"

It's an eclectic range of songs and not skewed in favor of any specific genre or generation. That's pretty much standard for how Rockstar approached songs in past GTA games, with a variety of radio stations that catered to every taste. But putting that in the game's pre-launch marketing makes it seem like an even more pointed decision.

Rockstar's already taking steps to make GTA 6 something you can tailor to what you like. It lets you make Lucia and Jason kiss or stay friends; gives you even more control over how you spend your time; improves the fashion options exponentially with multiple styles spanning streetwear and several others; and it even lets you alter Lucia's and Jason's physical appearances. Stuffing the radio stations with a blend of (comparatively) niche and mainstream music seems like another way to make sure more than just Joe and Jill Gamer find something they can connect with in GTA 6.

Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released on Nov. 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
