Clearing out the campaign in Path of Exile 2 not only helps you to progress on the lore and unlock rewards, but it also helps to unlock some handy stat boosts and bonuses.
To have a decent late-game build, you’ll need to unlock buffs and boosts along the way, as they will amplify the base damage with several modifiers. Applying buffs can happen in different ways, but the ones that unlock with the campaign should be prioritized. Doing so helps you get the boosts and unlock plenty of useful loot, including Uniques.
All permanent stat boosts in Path of Exile 2 Act 1
You can come across the permanent stats boosts in all three acts. Let’s look at all the available options, and how to unlock them in the first place.

The second act lets you unlock five different permanent buffs.

| Jiquani’s Machinarium | Eliminate Blackjaw | +10% Fire Resistance |
| The Molten Vault | Eliminate Mektul, the Forgemaster, and then speak with Oswald | Unlocks Reforging Bench |
| Aggorat | Get the Sacrificial Heart by eliminating enemies, and then bring it to the Altar of Sacrifice | +2 Passive Weapon Set Skill Points |
Once you complete all three acts, the Cruel difficulty will be unlocked. You can replay the full campaign in the Cruel difficulty to unlock more boosts. The difficulty spikes a lot, so you should be careful.
