All Essence combinations in Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Alchemical Revolution quest guide

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s The Alchemical Revolution quest is a lengthy story of Jafar experimenting with alchemy and requiring help from the village’s residents. While he’s an expert in Agrabah alchemy, he’s stumped on creating Dreamlight essence, which is where you come in to find the right combinations.

During Jafar’s experiment with Dreamlight magic, you’ll learn that three major essences are necessary to complete this quest. Here’s how to make the Essence of Wishes, the Essence of Will, and the Essence of Wonder.

How to brew Essence in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To complete the Alchemical Revolution quest, you must craft three Major Essence in Jafar’s laboratory using the nearby essence table and cauldron. Heading up the stairs toward the laboratory’s platforms, you’ll spot a table with the following seven essences:

• Essence of Desire
• Essence of Fantasy
• Essence of Determination
• Essence of Excitement
• Essence of Patience
• Essence of Hope
• Essence of Sincerity

These seven substances are the key to making the three Major Essences required for the Alchemical Revolution quest. Using the wrong combination results in rubbish that has no purpose other than restoring one energy.

That said, below are all three combinations for the essences of Wishes, Will, and Wonder:

Throughout the Alchemical Revolution quest, Ursula, the Fairy Godmother, and Jack Skellington will give tips about each combination, including part of the recipes for all three essences. Don’t worry if you skipped the dialogue without reading it; you’ll find reminder papers in your inventory. While they won’t tell you the exact answers, they’ll at least guide you where to start. From here, we can deduce the rest of the ingredients through educated guesses and some luck.

To make each essence, head to the table in Jafar’s Laboratory with the various colored elixirs. Interacting with the table lets you pick up seven bottles, which you can use at the pedestal to your right. This pedestal will reveal a cauldron you can use to combine each minor essence, resulting in some magical and colorful Major Essences.

Fortunately, there are unlimited amounts of essence to pick up, allowing you to try again if you accidentally add the wrong item. Just make sure you have enough inventory space for everything.

Once you have all three Major Essences, return to Jafar and give him the three Major Essences to learn about making a Gilded Stone, allowing you to advance through the Alchemical Revolution quest. Following this conversation, you’ll return to the cauldron and drop all three essences to create a Mysterious Stone.
