Britt Rivera is a writer, editor, and events producer with a bachelor of arts in English from Binghamton Universtiy where she also studied cinema after falling in love with movies at a young age thanks to her father.
She has written for websites including Fandom, Remezcla, Cutlress, and The Marvel Report. Growing up she wrote movie reviews for the teen section of her hometown newspaper.
ScreenRant is returning to the Windy City for FAN EXPO Chicago this year. The convention takes place from August 14–16 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. ScreenRant will also be an official media partner of the con, with host Liam Crowley moderating a number of panels throughout the weekend.
One of the oldest conventions in the country, FAN EXPO Chicago is celebrating an extra-special milestone this year, with guest Kurt Russell making his first-ever convention appearance at the event. The actor, known for his roles in movies such as The Thing and Big Trouble in Little China, and most recently, TV shows like Monarch: Legacy of Monsters and The Madison. Russell will be available for photo ops on Saturday and Sunday and will have a spotlight panel on Sunday evening.
FAN EXPO Chicago has a number of other impressive guests, including John Carpenter, Mr. T, Miranda Otto, and the Hobbit actors from The Lord of the Rings movies. The convention also features comic creators, voice actors, and anime stars.
