Did Alix Earle Go Through Braxton Berrios’ Phone Before Their Breakup? She Says...
Alix Earle is still getting used to her new normal.
The TikToker confirmed she saw her ex Braxton Berrios for the first time since their breakup was confirmed in early December while at the recent Palm Tree Festival in Aspen, Colorado.
“It was honestly just really hard for me—really weird, really hard,” Alix said in a Feb. 25 TikTok. “I was really emotional. The first night we were like in the same place but we didn’t say hi to each other, just because I didn’t want to like go up and annoy him, I don’t know, but I could see him out the corner of my eye.”
She confirmed she and the NFL star “briefly said hi to each other” the following night. The short interaction, however, was enough to bring up a range of emotions.
“It’s weird when you go from someone being like your best friend to being a stranger in the corner of the room,” Alix—who dated Braxton for two years—continued. “So that was tough. And by tough I mean terrible.”
Nevertheless, “it was a really fun weekend overall,” she confirmed, “just being with my friends and my family.”
The 25-year-old also shared going to the gym is one way she’s been keeping herself busy throughout her breakup and in the downtime since wrapping up Dancing With the Stars in the fall (Alix placed second with partner Val Chmerkovskiy).

“I have just been obsessed with moving my body,” she said. “I feel like it’s really helping me just feel like I have control of one thing. I just feel a lot healthier when I do it—like my mind feels better, my body feels better.”
While Alix and Braxton stayed quiet about their breakup initially, the influencer eventually shed light on why she and the Houston Texans wide receiver parted ways.
“We have been doing long distance since, basically, June and we haven’t gotten to see each other that often,” she said in a Dec. 13 TikTok. “It’s just been really difficult for me.”
Plus, she added, "A part of me also really wants to be focusing on myself right now. I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs.”

After all, she and the athlete both lead their own busy lives.
“I want him to have someone with him 24/7 who can support him and be there for him," she explained. "And he wasn’t really expecting that of me. I think it was more a me thing, but I constantly felt guilty.”
But despite deciding they’d be better off on their own, Alix explained the parting was on good terms.
“I love Braxton,” she said. “He’s my best friend, you know? So it’s been really difficult as we’re trying to go forward with this.”
“It just kinda feels like we’re on two different paths right now and it sucks,” she said. “We’re on good terms and I don’t want anyone to come for him or to be mean to him.”
