See Chris Evans, Alba Baptista's First Appearance Since Welcoming Baby at Oscars 2026
Alba Baptista can't help but marvel at Chris Evans.
The Mother Mary actress peeled back the curtain on their dynamic, revealing how her husband of two years has championed her own acting career.
"He's absolutely the best support guide," Alba told Entertainment Tonight in an interview on the red carpet at the film's New York premiere on April 13. "He has the best advice."
Although the Captain America star hadn't seen the Anne Hathaway-led film, she emphasized that eventually, "he's very excited" to watch the project.
And the 28-year-old—who welcomed a baby girl with Chris in October—is always grateful to have him in her corner. As she put it, "He's just the best human, that's it. He's the best."
While Chris and Alba prefer to keep their romance private, the Marvel star did share a glimpse into their fantastic three-year love story.
"We're laying low," he told E! News in June 2025. "We're enjoying our time, just relaxing."
When it comes to married life, he added, "It's incredible. It's wonderful."
After all, the 44-year-old has always seen himself with his own growing family.
"That's absolutely something I want," he told People in 2022. "Wife, kids, building a family. When you read about most of the best artists, whether it's actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn't the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships, the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared."
"I love the idea of tradition and ceremony," he noted. "I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating that, I can't think of anything better."

So, Chris was more than ready to plan his and Alba's September 2023 nuptials.
"It's a lot, planning a wedding," he told the audience at New York Comic Con in 2023 after their wedding. "Those of you who are married [know] it takes a lot out of you. But now that we're through that, we're just kind of been enjoying life, gearing up for autumn, my favorite season. It's the best time of year right now."
He added, "Now we're just relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting."

In 2025, Chris and Alba confirmed they were expecting their first baby together after two years of marriage.
And in June of that year, the Materialists actor couldn't contain how blissful marriage had been for the couple.
"It's incredible," Chris effused to E! News in June 2025. "It's wonderful."
The couple welcomed their daughter in October of that year.
