Adrien Brody looked effortlessly stylish on Monday as he arrived for day six of the 81st annual Venice Film Festival, while Jude Law and Zac Efron both headed back home.

Adrien, 51, greeted the photographers on the red carpet as he hopped off a water taxi, looking handsome in an open-collared black shirt.

The Oscar-winning actor kept things casual with a pair of dark jeans and designer hi-top trainers, while adding shielding his eyes under brown sunglasses.

He made a solo appearance at Hotel Excelsior, a day after putting on a besotted display with his girlfriend Georgina Chapman at the premiere of The Brutalist.

The Pianist star and the English fashion designer, 48, who began dating in 2019, were never more than a few inches apart on the red carpet on Sunday night.

The Brutalist chronicles 30 years in the life of Laszlo Toth, played by Adrien, a Hungarian-born Jewish architect who survived the Holocaust.

Also starring in epic historical drama are Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, and Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

Adrien has said his character and the story was something he felt an 'immediate kinship and understanding for.'

His real-life mother, photographer Sylvia Plachy, was a Hungarian immigrant who fled in 1956 during the anti-Soviet revolution to restart and attempt to build a life as an artist.

He said: 'Even though it's fiction, it feels very real and very real to me. That's so important for me to embody a character and make it real.'

And after the film received a seven-minute standing ovation at the weekend, Jude was spotted heading back home first thing on Monday morning.

He cut a dapper figure at Venice's Marco Polo airport, sporting a striped cream blazer over a plain T-shirt and matching jogging bottoms.

The star added a pair of aviator shades and waved goodbye as he gathered his suitcases and carried several garment bags full of designer clothes.

While Zac, 36, attempted to make a much more low-key exit as he departed the city to jet back home.

The actor covered his face almost entirely from view, hiding beneath a green baseball cap, black mask and sunglasses.

The High School Musical star dressed casually for his flight, wearing a plain white T-shirt, navy blue trousers, and slip-on shoes.

His departure came a day after Zac made a stylish appearance at the amfAR Gala on Sunday, marking his first public outing since his recent hospitalization

The star was taken to hospital following an incident while swimming at a luxe villa in Ibiza at the beginning of last month.

Insiders told TMZ, Zac dove into deep into a pool at the villa and his chest struck the pool's bottom, leading to him ingesting 'a large amount of water into his lungs'.

They said the Iron Claw star had 'showed signs of distress' in the wake of the incident, at which point security officials rushed in to assist him.

Sources added to the outlet that Zac had been 'momentarily dazed' and subsequently transported to a medical facility 'as a precautionary measure'.

Medical officials examined him with X-rays to his chest in an effort to determine that his lungs were clear of water, and he was then medically cleared.

His representative confirmed to the outlet that the actor was hospitalized 'as a precautionary measure' following the 'minor' incident and is 'recovering just fine;' as he was released from the hospital.

Zac later updated fans on his condition after his hospital trip, taking to social media to write: 'Happy and healthy - thanks for the well wishes.'

While Jude and Zac headed home, Kevin Costner touched down at Marco Polo airport on Monday and was seen heading to the festival.

The actor and director, 69, looked in high spirits as he arrived and climbed into a waiting water taxi to whisk him to the island city.

Kevin is at the film festival for the premiere of his film Horizon: An American Saga -Chapter Two, which will take place on Saturday.

The epic Western was directed, produced and co-written by Kevin, who also stars in the film alongside Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington and Jena Malone.

It is the second part in a planned four movies centring on the exploration of the American West, following Chapter One being released in June.

However, the first film was slammed by critics and failed to ignite at the box office, with Chapter 2's theatrical release now being delayed indefinitely.

Kevin financed the film himself, admitting to putting $38 million of his own funds into the project after spending decades trying to find a studio to make the film and even took out a loan against his Santa Barbara home.
