Adele shared an emotional embrace with Celine Dion after spotting the “My Heart Will Go On” singer in the audience of her Las Vegas residency show on Saturday night.
In a video posted to X, Adele is seen performing her song “When We Were Young” when she approached Dion, who was seated in a side box at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Adele teared up as the two singers shared a few words during their embrace. At one point, Dion held Adele’s face in her hands.
Dion kissed Adele’s hand before parting ways with the “Rolling in the Deep” singer, who resumed her performance of “When We Were Young” as she walked back to the stage.
This is not the first time Adele and Dion have crossed paths at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. In 2018, Adele attended Dion’s second residency at the venue and visited her backstage. “Queen Celine! What a show, an absolute highlight of my life, thank you so much for the attention to your crowd and insane humor. Happy New Year lady x,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
Dion also took to social media at the time to share her appreciation for Adele, writing, “I had a pretty rough time during the last couple of weeks…a lot of people have been hit with cold and flu bugs… but I’m doing much better now. Wasn’t able to do all my shows, but was thrilled that Adele came to one of them…. I love her so much!!”
Adele’s Weekends With Adele residency will conclude its run on Nov. 23.
