Adele breaks TWO records with epic £100million Munich residency as she bursts into tears announcing indefinite break from music

Adele broke down in tears as she ended her incredible £100million Munich residency last weekend - and even announced she is now going to take an 'incredibly long' break from music.

But during the recent set of shows the hitmaker, 36, managed to smash two records - one of them being an official Guinness World Record.

Firstly, over 730,000 fans from all over the world came to see the unique artist as part of her series of ten open-air concerts. 

The concerts took place in the bespoke Arena at the Messe in Riem, which was tailor-made for her. 

More than two thirds of the visitors celebrated before and after the performances in the adjacent, first of its kind, Adele World with its diverse entertainment and catering offerings.

With over 730,000 tickets sold, the Adele shows registered the highest attendance of any concert residency outside Las Vegas.

And secondly - Adele has achieved another phenomenal record, this time for the incredible staging at her shows in Munich.

The Guinness World Records has verified she has the screen of all screens as part of the concert residency, stating her screen as 'the largest continuous outdoor LED screen'.

Joanne Brent official adjudicator for the Guinness World Records said: 'It is an immense honour to present the iconic Adele with this GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title. 

'While Adele is no stranger to holding multiple records for her music, this achievement stands apart, celebrating her remarkable vision for the 'Adele in Munich' residency. 

'The bespoke visual effects, tailored to each song, truly elevated the performance adding an undeniable 'wow' factor. It was a perfect complement to the unparalleled artistry of Adele. She is OFFICIALLY AMAZING™.' - 

Adele finished her run of shows in Munich last Saturday and broke down in tears as she said goodbye to her fans for a long break from music.

She informed the crowd as she began crying: 'I've got 10 shows to do, but after that I will not see you for an incredibly long time and I will hold you dear in my heart.'

Ahead of her Munich performances, she made the bombshell announcement that she does not 'have any plans for new music at all,' during a ZDF interview in July.

'I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things. Just for a little while,' she explained to the German public service broadcaster.

Adele has hinted that she has major plans to have another child during her 'incredibly long' career break.

The music mogul doubled down on her plans for a hiatus from music onstage Saturday during the final night of her 10-show engagement in Munich, Germany.

It poses questions if Adele is preparing to free up space to have a baby with her fiancé Rich Paul.

She previously shared hopes to have a daughter. 

She already has 11-year-old son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki.

On stage at her Las Vegas residency in May, Adele told fans she wanted to have a baby 'once she was done with all obligations and her shows'.

She said: 'Once I am done with all my ­obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby.

Adele has hinted that she has major plans to have another child during her 'incredibly long' career break (seen with fiancé Rich Paul) 

'I want a girl because I've already got a boy. 

'I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also prob- ably hate the most in the world — that is what I feel will happen.

'She's going to put me in my place all the time, isn't she?'

Adele will resume her Las Vegas residency for one more run of concerts from October 25 to November 23.
