Abbie Chatfield has sparked backlash from fans of her partner Adam Hyde's band, Peking Duk, for allegedly making herself the centre of attention on stage at his shows.

The FBoy Island star, 29, has frequently attended Adam's performances, whether with Peking Duk or his solo project, Keli Holiday.

But it seems several fans are less than impressed with Abbie constantly popping up onstage.

One fan took to Instagram to describe her actions as 'controlling,' commenting on a post that featured Abbie playfully interacting with Adam in front of a large crowd.

'I find it quite controlling how Abbie is all up in his space at gigs,' they wrote.

'It's like she can't stand not being the centre of attention. Surely it's got to be annoying for a performer.'

However, the sentiment was met with some resistance from Abbie's fans, with one replying: 'If you hated your partner I'm sure it would be.'

Another jumped to Abbie's defence, stating: 'He literally interacts and engages with her throughout the show, he could just ignore her if he wanted to.'

However, there were similar sentiments expressed on Tattle Life with many jumping in to suggest that Abbie needs to 'stay in her lane.'

'No normal healthy partnership requires the GF to become part of the live shows,' one fan commented.

'Where's Reuben's [Adam's Peking Duk bandmate] wife? Why does Abbie need to be so involved?

'Abbie being on stage and such a huge part of Peking Duk recently is going to cause problems. She needs to stay in her lane, let him have his career.'

Another agreed, claiming that the reason Abbie was always at Peking Duk shows was insecurity.

'Yeah I have to say, I find this so odd when she's parading around Peking Duk,' they wrote.

'Reuben's wife is less insecure obviously and just let's them do their thing while she does her thing. I would love to know what she thinks of Abbie.'

Abbie certainly hasn't been shy about getting up on stage with Adam. The couple were seen cavorting and indulging in racy PDA during Peking Duk's recent set at the Rhythm and Vines festival in New Zealand.

It was a similar story when Peking Duk saw in the new year at the Hindley St Music Hall in Adelaide.

The couple were not afraid to pack on the PDA for thousands of fans who had gathered to ring in 2025 as they showed off their affections for one another.

But it hasn't all been negativity, with many fans gushing over Abbie's cameo appearances.

Abbie's Rhythm and Vines post was met with a flurry of gushing approval with the likes of: 'You two are absolutely meant for each other.'

Another chimed in with: 'I swear u guys are just teaching everyone how to love ur partner right.

Adelaide fans were similarly chuffed with Abbie's appearance, with the crowd chanting 'Abbie' as she took to the stage.

'Abbie being on stage and such a huge part of Peking Duk recently is going to cause problems. She needs to stay in her lane, let him have his career,' they added

'Making me believe in love,' one follower gushed, while another offered a similar: 'You two are gonna take over the world and I'm here for it.'

A third summed up the sentiment of many with: 'Abbie this is BY FAR the BEST bf you have had your whole life my friend!'

Abbie confirmed her romance with singer Adam last year after weeks of speculation, and they have been going strong ever since.

She recently issued a stern warning to the musician's weird fans, urging them to keep their hands off him.

She took to Instagram on Friday to detail the bizarre behaviour Adam is forced to deal with while performing live at gigs.

'For anyone thinking of hitting on Adam tonight at his gig, remember this is who you're competing with xxxxx (kidding but also kinda not, stop being weird at gigs xx),' she quipped.

'Just kidding. But honestly, some of you are fkn weird with him. Please don't grope him, thank you so much,' she added.
