There have been many notable 90 Day Fiancé franchise cast members who have memorably struggled financially, so are their money problems fixed now? The OG 90 Day Fiancé show debuted in 2014, and it currently has 10 complete seasons behind it. 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? was the first franchise spinoff, and originated in 2016. 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days came next in 2017, followed by 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way in 2019. These four shows are the core of the franchise, and they are where all the new cast members come from, save for HEA, which is where couples' journeys are followed up.

The 90 Day Fiancé umbrella also has other spinoffs that have been wildly popular in recent years. Love in Paradise: The Caribbean, A 90 Day Story (now called 90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise), premiered in 2020 and has four complete seasons. 90 Day: The Single Life, 90 Day Diaries, The Family Chantel, Darcey & Stacey, and 90 Day Bares all have all been spinoffs that follow established cast members in their lives after their initial run in the franchise.

Over the years, finances have been a serious and very relevant topic plaguing many of the cast members. To bring a foreigner to America on a K-1 fiancé visa, applicants need to meet a minimum income requirement, which has proved difficult for many of the cast on this list. What's more, maintaining relationships with people abroad has been an expensive endeavor for the Americans of the show, and has dug some deep holes for some that have been daunting. In Love in Paradise season 4, Luke Berry went to Colombia to tell his 19-year-old fiancé that he was broke after supporting her upscale lifestyle the past year.

Before the 90 Days season 7's Loren Allen also went to his foreign love interest's country broke, but the pair got engaged despite the hurdle. These two examples don't compare to the financial despair of those on this list. The 90 Day Fiancé cast members on this list were in dire financial straits, and an update on their current money landscape is insightful.

10 Niles Valentine

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 7

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Niles Valentine met his now-fiance, Matilda Nti, on social media after she sent him a message. The pair dated virtually for two years before Niles, who has Autism Spectrum disorder, went to Matilda's native Ghana to meet her for the first time. Matilda was adamant about getting married on Niles' first trip, as he had proposed to her over video call previously. Niles had reservations he expressed to Matilda, and the pair decided to just do the traditional knocking ceremony. However, Niles was implored to go through with the marriage after his stand-in Ghanian father, Mr. Arc, said he couldn't break tradition and had to marry Matilda.

This led Niles to reveal to Matilda that he lost his job before going to Ghana, and that he was broke and couldn't afford the wedding. With his back against the wall, Niles asked Mr. Arc to come up with his deficit for the wedding with a loan, and Mr. Arc obliged. Things are looking better for Niles now, however, as he has been at his new job since January 2024. With job security, Niles is in a better position to bring Matilda to the U.S. and pay back Mr. Arc.

9 Gino Palazzolo

Before the 90 Days, 90 Day Fiancé, 90 Day: The Last Resort

Gino Palazzolo entered the 90 Day Fiancé franchise in Before the 90 Days season 5 when he went to Panama to meet his Panamanian girlfriend Jasmine Pineda for the first time. The two had met on a sugar baby website. At the time, Gino was working as a Product Development Engineer for an automotive company. Before meeting Jasmine in person, Gino started funding Jasmine's lifestyle, including paying for her cosmetic procedures. Gino described himself as money conscious and was worried about how much he spent on Jasmine.

When Jasmine arrived in America on the K-1 visa, Gino revealed he had quit his job to spend more time with her and that he was living off his $600,000 retirement savings. Jasmine felt Gino was withholding his money from her and financially controlling her. Gino thought he was trying to maintain a budget. In The Last Resort season 2, which Gino and Jasmine are currently on, money has not been brought up yet.

However, Gino and Jasmine are now broken up, so Gino does not have to spend lavishly on her, which no doubt helps his wallet.

8 Tiffany Franco

The Other Way, Happily Ever After?, The Single Life

Tiffany Franco first appeared in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1. Tiffany was a single mom to a son and was a makeup artist. She moved to her fiancé Ronald Smith's native South Africa, and the two got married and quikcly became pregnant. In order to bring Ronald to America, Tiffany needed her dad to co-sign on the K-1 visa, which means Tiffany didn't even make the $20,000 a year needed to apply for the visa.

Things have turned around financially for Tiffany since appearing on the show. She launched her own makeup line in 2021, and has a large following on Instagram and TikTok, where she posts paid short videos and does brand promotions. Tiffany has claimed Ronald barely helps monetarily with their kids.

When Kalani Faagata first appeared in 90 Day Fiancé season 6, she did not work. She had to have her parents co-sign for her fiancé Asuelu Pulaa's K-1 visa. From there, she became a stay-at-home mom, and Asuelu worked part-time. It's unclear how the couple survived financially, but it was likely with the help of Kalani's parents, who they lived with. These days, Kalani and Asuelu are divorced and co-parenting, Kalani had a third child, and Kalani makes money doing brand promotions and Cameo videos.

6 David Toborowsky

90 Day Fiancé, Happily Ever After?, After The 90 Days

David Toborowsky went to Thailand after a health scare and losing all his money in a divorce. He survived off his friend Chris when he met Annie Suwan in Thailand. Chris had to co-sign for Annie's visa, and the pair moved to Kentucky with no money and lived in one of Chris' empty office buildings. However, through their 90 Day Fiancé fame, David and Annie launched a cooking channel, continue to appear in the franchise, and do brand and company promotions to earn a living.

They've been able to buy a big house and split their time between the U.S. and Thailand.

Now they have a baby on the way and are laying roots in Thailand.

Rachel Walters went to England to meet Jon Walters in Before the 90 Days season 2. They got married, and Rachel, a mom of two, needed a co-signer for Jon's visa, since she lost her job. Rachel and Jon struggled with visa denials for many years until they ultimately broke up in 2024. Now, Rachel doesn't have to pay for Jon's visa and travel back and forth to England. She runs an Etsy store selling handmade trinkets and is on Cameo.

Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou were introduced in 90 Day Fiancé season 4, when Nicole went to Morocco to meet Azan in person for the first time in person. After becoming engaged, single mom Nicole asked her dad to co-sign for Azan's visa. However, they did not make it far in the application process, as the pair broke up. Nicole put all her limited money into traveling to see Azan, and then $12,000 into opening a store in Morocco with him.

"There is no store."

The store never came to fruition, and Nicole left the relationship and went back home to live with family in Florida. Nicole most recently worked at Starbucks, and she gets money through clickbait ads that anger fans.

3 Jibri Bell

90 Day Fiancé

Jibri Bell brought his Serbian wife Miona Bell to America on the K-1 visa in 90 Day Fiancé season 9. They moved into his parents' house in South Dakota, and it's unclear whether he needed a co-signer for the visa. Jibri gave Miona a jet-setting life before they got married, but was unable to deliver that upon her arrival in America. It looked like Jibri and Miona were down bad, as Jibri's music career dwindled.

However, Miona launched a successful ponytail business and was seemingly supporting the two. But Miona and Jibri broke up after a year of marriage, and Jibri has been finding himself on a spiritual journey in Asia, while Miona has bought a house with a new man.

Miona is certainly up, and it's unclear how Jibri is funding his current lifestyle.

2 Emily Bieberly

90 Day Fiancé, Happily Ever After?

Emily was a part-time nanny when her Cameroonian husband, Kobe Blaise, came to America on the K-1 visa her parents co-signed for in 90 Day Fiance season 9. The pair lived in Emily's parents' house and mooched off their helping hand. Kobe got a job with concrete after he got his Green Card, and Emily became a stay-at-home mom. The pair now have three kids and were talking about moving into a house of their own. Kobe got hurt and needed ACL surgery, keeping him off of work. The couple seem to be supporting themselves through selling merchandise and doing brand promotions. Emily's parents are likely helping out a lot too.

1 James Solis

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way

90 Day Fiancé's James Solis worked at his family's elevator company in Maine, while his Indonesian wife Meitalia Solis sold handmade jewelry online. James abruptly left his family's business with no notice to move to Indonesia, where the couple helped Meitalia's family sell banana chips. They also left an over $700 a month car note back in the States. Realizing that he couldn't financially support his wife, James went back to America to grovel to his family for his job back. It's unclear if James got his job back, but he and Meitalia are both back in the U.S. and James launched a music career while Meitalia still sells jewelry.
