Michael Ilesanmi from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? left Angela Deem eight months ago, and I don't think she has fully recovered from the heartbreak. Angela married Michael in January 2020, ignoring the red flags in their relationship. Despite discovering Michael's questionable WhatsApp group and secret piggy bank, I was shocked to see Angela bring him to the United States, hoping their relationship would improve once they were living together. Unfortunately, Michael was unable to regain Angela's trust. Eventually, he left her in February 2024, claiming he was concerned for his safety in Angela's house.
After Michael left Angela, he immediately returned to all social media platforms to fulfill his dream of becoming an influencer. While I was happy to see Michael embracing his newfound freedom, I was disappointed to see Angela launching a smear campaign against him. The Georgia native has accused her Nigerian husband of being a scammer who abandoned her as soon as he reached the United States. Angela wants Michael to be held accountable, so she has filed for their marriage to be annulled. Michael is prepared to fight Angela in court, backed by over $50,000 in donations from supporters.
Angela's Getting Emotional Over Her Battle With Michael
Angela Appears Visibly Shattered & Fragile
Despite receiving backlash from fans, I see Angela continues to criticize her ex-husband on social media. It seems that instead of focusing on healing from her heartbreak, she's only causing herself more pain by constantly talking about Michael.

Just a few days ago, I witnessed Angela breaking down in tears while speaking to Virtual Realitea, expressing her belief that she'd never be able to recover from this heartbreak. She also mentioned her intent to advocate for those who have been scammed through foreign spousal visas. It's difficult for me to see Angela, a strong woman, become emotional like that.
Angela Needs To Stop This Mindless Fighting
This Michael Drama Is Wearing Down Angela
While Angela projects herself as an independent woman on the show, she has appeared vulnerable on social media lately.
I feel like Michael has taken away her ability to enjoy life fully. Since his runaway scandal, I haven't seen Angela at peace. I believe dwelling on the past is preventing her from seeing a brighter future and causing immense stress on her health. At 57 years old, I think Angela needs to stop fixating on Michael and his mistakes. I would advise her to cut her losses and end this exhausting drama that is taking a toll on her.
Angela Must Face Reality
Angela Should Be Prepared To Heal & Move Forward
Based on my research online, I believe that the 90 Day Fiancé franchise alum wouldn't be able to nullify her four-year-long marriage to Michael. I also feel that Michael can't be deported, as he entered the United States legally on a spousal visa and left Angela's house for safety concerns. Therefore, I think Angela should just stop trying to have him deported and focus her precious time on more positive things. I hope she can accept the situation and use this time to heal. I wish the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? alum can find joy again.
