Veronica Webb was a top model in the 1980s and 1990s.

The Detroit native worked with the best photographers when posing for Vogue and Harper's Bazaar magazines.

She also walked the runways for designers including Gianni Versace, Azzedine Alaia, Isaac Mizrahi, and Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel

In 1992, Webb made history as the first Black model to sign an exclusive cosmetics contract when she joined Revlon.

And she also was a part of the Victoria's Secret brand as she posed for the catalogs and walked their runway.

Webb also acted: Her films and TV credits include Jungle Fever, In Too Deep, Just Shoot Me! The Big Tease, The West Wing, Dirty Laundry and Malcolm X.

Her dating life was interesting too: she romanced Spike Lee, Cory Booker and Robert De Niro.

Now at 60, she still models, and looks sensational as well.

Veronica Webb was a top model in the 1980s and 1990s. Seen at the Victoria's Secret spring show in 1996 in NYC. This week she posted a new image to Instagram

The star took to Instagram this week to give a look at her body in lingerie as she was hooked up to a machine.

'You can’t fake the funk. New York Fashion Week is two weeks out, which means the prep gets… intentional. This part isn’t glamorous. It’s repetitive. It’s disciplined. And yes—temporarily joy-limiting.

'Daily Pilates. Long walks in a weighted vest. Strength training with the vest (because bones, muscles, and metabolism don’t maintain themselves). And as we hit the two-week mark, the dial turns: No alcohol. No fried food. No refined sugar. AKA: no fun until the last show wraps.

'I’m also layering in body treatments that focus on muscle tone and tissue quality—not quick fixes, not “spot reduction,” but supporting what I’m already doing. Think muscle stimulation, circulation, and recovery, not magic.

'Fashion Week doesn’t reward shortcuts. It rewards consistency. The goal isn’t smaller. It’s sleeker. Stronger. More awake in your own body. The party comes later. First, the work.'
