One of the most prolific actresses of the 80s had fans doing a double take on Monday, as she appeared almost unrecognizable during a rare outing in Los Angeles.
The 77-year-old star, who cemented her status as a scream queen alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in 1981’s Halloween II as Nurse Karen Bailey, looked sprightly and radiant while enjoying a shopping spree.
Dressed in a simple cropped top and black trousers, she looked just as stunning as she did on the red carpet during her earlier work, including NBC’s Return to Peyton Place as Alison MacKenzie Tate.
Longtime fans will also remember that the star had major roles in the pilots for Knight Rider and Magnum, P.I. - but she wasn’t asked back when both shows went to series, including the role as Tom Selleck’s girlfriend.
Sci-fi enthusiasts will also recall her turn as Miss Dorothy Carlyle on Galactica 1980.
So… can you guess the mystery beauty?

If you said Pamela Susan Shoop, you’re spot on!
But behind that jaw-dropping appearance is a career that spans four decades and a story that Hollywood insiders still admire.
Born in Hollywood, California, on June 7, 1948, Shoop was practically destined for the spotlight - she’s the daughter of actress Julie Bishop, a familiar face in more than 80 films from the 1920s through the 1950s.
Shoop studied acting at the University of Southern California and even trained in Florence, Italy, before making her professional debut in theatre in the late 1960s.
Her first major on-screen roles were in television series, appearing in everything from The Mod Squad and The F.B.I. to police dramas and sci-fi shows that defined the era.
Her breakout onscreen moment came when she took over the role of Alison MacKenzie Tate on the soap Return to Peyton Place - a role originally made famous by Mia Farrow - and she quickly became a familiar face to American TV audiences.
Of course, it’s her role in Halloween II that horror fans most remember her for.
In interviews, Shoop has laughed about how she 'hadn’t been too involved with the horror genre' before landing the part, and admitted she didn’t fully realise how iconic the franchise would become until years later.

She also spoke candidly about the challenges of filming night shoots and shared warm memories of bonding with co-stars like Jamie Lee Curtis behind the scenes.
Beyond the spooky stuff, Shoop made guest appearances on a slew of popular 70s and 80s shows - from The Incredible Hulk and Wonder Woman to B.J. and the Bear, Murder, She Wrote and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.
After scaling back her acting career in the mid-90s, Shoop turned her energy to other passions, notably writing.
In 1987 she married former Jesuit priest Terrance Sweeney, and together the pair penned the heartfelt memoir What God Hath Joined, recounting their love story and spiritual journey.
She has also stayed connected to fans by attending horror conventions and fan events around the world, often delighting crowds with stories from her extensive TV and film career.
