After recently premiering his latest project, The Madison, Taylor Sheridan has crawled back to his Texas hideout to continue expanding his empire at Paramount before he leaves for NBCUniversal. While it’s easy to say Yellowstone is the project that helped turn him into one of Hollywood’s most popular (and controversial) screenwriters, he’s actually been around penning projects that far predate Kevin Costner’s legendary Western saga. One of Sheridan’s most famous movies is Wind River, the neo-Western starring Jeremy Renner, whom he later would work with on all five seasons of Mayor of Kingstown. Sheridan also penned the script for other famous neo-Westerns, such as Hell or High Water, which stars Jeff Bridges and Chris Pine. He even wrote the script for the failed Tom Clancy movie starring Michael B. Jordan, Without Remorse, which is currently streaming on Prime Video and for free on Tubi.

However, for Sheridan, it all dates back to his work in Yellowstone. He’s released plenty of new projects since Yellowstone went off the air at the end of 2024, but his original Western saga is still his best-performing show on streaming by a mile. Even his newer arrivals like Landman and Tulsa King, which feature stars like Billy Bob Thornton and Sylvester Stallone, have failed to reach the heights of the original Costner-led Western series. Fans speculated that Landman would be the show to take the crown from Yellowstone as Sheridan’s most popular series, but after two full seasons on Paramount+, it still has its work cut out if it’s going to achieve this. Sheridan also has other shows with new seasons to look forward to, like Lioness, the spy thriller starring Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman. Even after ending, Yellowstone is still dominating streaming, currently clocking in at #2 on Paramount+'s global streaming charts.

Which Two Taylor Sheridan Shows Are Happening Right Now?

The two Taylor Sheridan-written shows that are on the air right now are The Madison and Marshals. The former stars Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer, and it’s completely unconnected to the original Yellowstone show. The latter, however, returns Luke Grimes to his role as Kayce Dutton, now that he’s left the Yellowstone ranch behind to become a U.S. Marshal. Grimes recently confirmed to Collider that Marshals Season 2, which is already confirmed, will have more episodes than the first season.

Stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of the Yellowstone universe, and watch all episodes of the show on Peacock in America and on Paramount+ globally.
