The best movies on Max include not only the best Warner Bros. movies but also a ton of other films that make it one of the best destinations for entertainment in the streaming world. In February 2025, Max continued to morph its streaming service into a destination for the best in movies and TV shows. While several major movies left the service at the end of January, viewers have some new releases to see, including The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, Bad Boys II, Taxi Driver, and End of Watch.
The biggest news coming from Max is about the upcoming Harry Potter streaming series. Other than the original Max series that will retell all the books' stories, there is also the possibility of a Fantastic Beasts TV series with Warner Bros. hoping to revive the early canceled franchise with a new run, possibly finding success on the small screen (via Comic Book). There was also big news concerning Max and wrestling, as AEW joined the streaming service in January and was among the top live sports events, with the entire first year's events also added to the service.
