In the past week, all eyes have been on Netflix's East of Eden, a new adaptation of John Steinbeck's celebrated 1952 family saga. The upcoming star of both Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three, Florence Pugh, stars as Cathy Ames in the series, alongside the likes of Mike Faist, Christopher Abbott, and Hoon Lee. Having already earned 6.5 million views in its first four days of streaming, East of Eden is one of the biggest shows right now, but it's far from the only series that should be on your radar. With that in mind, here's a look at three must-watch shows on Prime Video this weekend.

1 'Carrie' (2026)

Rotten Tomatoes: 85% | IMDb: 7.8/10

One of the newest shows on streaming is also perfect for spooky season. Mike Flanagan is applying his genius horror stylings to the works of Stephen King once again, with a new adaptation of Carrie. Starring Summer C. Howell in the titular role, the series follows a sheltered, grieving teenager whose arrival at a public high school triggers a bullying scandal and the unlikely development of mysterious telekinetic powers.

A creepy, detailed adaptation of one of King's most famous tales, Carrie is perfect for both those who are new to the story and those who are lovers of the source material, with Collider's Nate Richard writing in his review that "it's definitely worth a watch for those who hold the novel near and dear to their hearts." Samantha Sloyan, Amber Midthunder, and modern horror legend Matthew Lillard also feature in this must-watch series.

2 'Neagley' (2026)

Rotten Tomatoes: 94% | IMDb: 7.7/10

Don't let the arrival of Carrie distract you from another highly watched title on Prime Video in the U.S. Following an explosive Reacher Season 4 finale, fans were rewarded with the spin-off they'd long been waiting for, as Maria Sten headlined as Neagley, moving into a life of danger and chaos as a Private Investigator in Chicago.

Called "a show that delivers exactly what it promises," featuring "an incredibly intriguing lead and greatly elevated by a likable cast," by Collider's David Caballero in his review, this Reacher spin-off is as action-packed and intense as its predecessor. All eight episodes in Neagley's first season are available to binge right now, and the series has already been renewed for a second outing.

3 'Upload' (2020–2025)

Rotten Tomatoes: 88% | IMDb: 7.8/10

If you're looking for something with more than one season to really sink your teeth into this weekend, then why not one of the more underrated series of the decade so far? The sci-fi comedy Upload, created by the prolific genius behind The Office U.S., Greg Daniels, follows a man facing premature death who uploads himself into a virtual afterlife, only for his place of choice to prove far from perfect.

Robbie Amell stars as Nathan Brown in his best performance yet, supported by the likes of Andy Allo, Allegra Edwards, Owen Daniels, and more. Over four seasons and 29 episodes, the series consistently produced quality episodes of gripping, hilarious television, earning a widespread fanbase in the process that was shocked and frustrated by the choice to cancel with a limited four-episode final season. Now that the dust has settled on the cancellation, it's time to revisit this gem and simply enjoy what it has to offer.
