The transition from February to March boasts one of the biggest box office debuts of the year. Across the past weekend, the latest installment in the classic horror franchise, Scream 7, managed to fight off controversy and mixed reviews to secure an impressive opening haul. Finishing the weekend just shy of $100 million worldwide, the film is already the third-highest-grossing of the year, continuing the horror genre's impressive box office run of the last few years. In the shadow of Scream 7's box office debut, what should you watch next? To help you decide, here's a list of three movies you should stream this week on Netflix.

3 'Jurassic World: Dominion' (2022)

Rotten Tomatoes: 29% | IMDb: 5.6/10

Following Scream 7's impressive box office debut, why not check out this financial juggernaut from 2022? Having recently debuted on Netflix, Jurassic World: Dominion is set four years after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and follows the events of a world now co-inhabited by humans and dinosaurs, who live and hunt beside one another. What could possibly go wrong?

The end of an era for a controversial chapter in this franchise, Jurassic World: Dominion saw former lead actors Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard join forces with the three central stars of the original Jurassic Park trilogyLaura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum. A blockbuster that favors eye-popping set pieces instead of narrative nuance, this is sure to keep you thoroughly entertained.

2 'Casino' (1995)

Rotten Tomatoes: 79% | IMDb: 8.2/10

One of the more underrated entries in Martin Scorsese's filmography, the epic crime movie Casino follows the violent competition for power and dominance in the world of early-1970s Las Vegas gambling. Starring Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, and an Oscar-nominated Sharon Stone, the movie is an adaptation of Nicholas Pileggi's nonfiction book Casino: Love and Honor in Las Vegas.

Although it doesn't quite hit the heights of Goodfellas and The Departed, if Casino were directed by most other filmmakers, it would likely be their best work. Earning plenty of critical acclaim upon release, including a Best Supporting Actress nod for Stone at the Academy Awards, a viewing of this pulse-racing crime flick this week is far from a gamble.

1 'Chef' (2014)

Rotten Tomatoes: 87% | IMDb: 7.3/10

Sometimes, all you need is a heartwarming movie to keep you going during a tough week. If that's what you're looking for, you won't find many more comforting than 2014's Chef. Chef serves heartfelt drama and a hearty portion of comforting storytelling. Featuring a star-studded cast, Favreau is joined by the likes of Sofía Vergara, John Leguizamo, Scarlett Johansson, Oliver Platt, Bobby Cannavale, and Dustin Hoffman, with a cameo appearance by the MCU's Robert Downey Jr. the cherry on the cake. Sure to make you hungry for both food and life, don't miss out on this joyous tale this week.
