25 Richest 'Real Housewives' of All Time, Ranked

1 week ago 8

When Real Housewives of Orange County first aired in 2006 on Bravo TV the viewing audience was unclear what to expect. However, it didn’t take long for the American audience to be hooked. The wealth, the lifestyle, the houses, and the drama brought something new to unscripted programming. The very name of the show seemed to challenge what people assumed real housewives should be like. This reality TV show was different, and spawned multiple spin-offs, including Real Housewives of New York, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and Real Housewives of Atlanta, to name just a few. Over the years, the franchise has gained further widespread popularity. The Real Housewives have become a cultural phenomenon. The leading ladies you soon got to love, and sometimes hate. They would come into the show, then go to be replaced, only to later return once again. But the fabulous lifestyles will always remain constant.

Learning the backstories of these wealthy and unabated housewives is a big draw to the franchise. Were they born with a silver spoon in their mouth? Did they have to go out and earn it? Or, did they marry into it? For those housewives who have officially made it, was theirs a rags-to-riches story? Or, did they invent a rags-to-riches story for themselves? Who has the biggest house, the richest husband, and the biggest online following? Could you separate the super-rich from the rich? Let’s take a closer look at the net worth of the richest real housewives and the journey that took them to fame and fortune. All housewives' net worths are calculated using data drawn from public sources, including celebritynetworth.com, Bravo TV.com, and other financial websites.

25 Ramona Singer

RHONY - (TV Personality, Entrepreneur) - Net Worth: $16 million

Ramona Singer was already a business success before she joined The Real Housewives of New York City. The savvy lady from the Upper East Side started a wholesale clothing business in 1986. Once she joined RHONY as one of the original cast members, she started to expand her business portfolio to include jewelry, skincare, pinot grigio, and a memoir. As one of the original RHONY ladies, Ramona spent more than a decade entertaining viewers with her outlandish antics.

Ramona remained a RHONY darling until her behavior veered from outrageous to morally questionable. Rumors began to follow the Bravo-lebrity about making racially insensitive comments and posts online, which intensified when Eboni K. Williams joined as the first Black cast member in Season 13. Eboni took her fellow Housewives to task for their lack of awareness surrounding issues of race, discrimination, and social justice, and Ramona wasn't having any of it. It isn't clear whether Ramona left the series by choice, or if she wasn't asked back, but after her Bravocon appearance was canceled in 2023 over the bad press from her alleged racism, it was clear Ramona's bad behavior was a large factor in the network's decision to completely reboot the cast for Season 14.

24 Kristen Taekman

RHONY - (TV Personality, Model, Fashion Blogger) - Net Worth: $20 million

kristen taekman real housewives of new york (1) Image via Bravo

Kristen Taekman first appeared on The Real Housewives of New York City in Season 6 in 2014. The model and fashion blogger opened up her home as a mother with young children and a marriage that caused fans to speculate wildly. Kristen joked she might be "getting divorced" in the show's trailer, and she and her husband were shown bickering several times as they filmed together. But Kristen underplayed the tension that appeared to exist in her marriage on RHONY in a 2023 interview with People Magazine, explaining to the outlet that it felt very normal for an already busy couple with small children to have tension, especially when adding the strain of filming a reality TV series on top of everything. In Season 7, the focus turned to Kristen's feud with returning RHONY legend Bethenny Frankel, who did not invite her to her impromptu birthday party. Kristen tried to address Bethenny about being left out at the group's next filming event, but found the returning cast member wasn't interested in engaging with her on camera. Kristen's fashion ambitions continued in Season 7 as well. She featured a photo shoot for her site, and promoted her nail polish line.

Since her time on RHONY, Kristen and her family have relocated to the West Coast, settling in the celebrity-filled hills of Calabasas. After departing the series, Kristen was dragged into the Ashley Madison cheating website scandal when it was revealed her husband had signed up for the service. Kristen didn't have the RHONY platform anymore, but she stood by her husband, who assured her that he had signed up as a joke with some friends. By the time Kristen returned to Bravo for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy in 2023, she continued to defend her husband and her marriage, even under the intense scrutiny of her co-stars, who peppered her with questions about her husband's specific transactions on the infamous website.

23 Aviva Drescher

RHONY (TV Personality, Author, Entrepreneur) - Net Worth: $20 million

Aviva Drescher was on The Real Housewives of New York City for the fifth and sixth seasons. The born and bred New York City socialite has an admirable CV when it comes to her education, including a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College, a Master's Degree in French from New York University, and a JD from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. As a young child, Aviva was involved in a tragic farm accident that resulted in the amputation of her left leg, which shaped her experience, but she "never let this tragedy define who she is."

She opened her home to Bravo cameras to share her life with husband Reid and their four children in the Upper West Side. Aviva created one of the most iconic moments in The Real Housewives franchise history when she threw her prosthetic leg onto the dinner table in the middle of an argument while shouting: "The only thing that is fake about me, is this!" Despite this iconic gesture, Aviva was not asked to return to RHONY Season 7. Since then, Aviva and her family relocated to Miami in 2022.

22 Shannon Beador

RHOC (TV Personality, Entrepreneur) – Net Worth: $20 million

Where Yolanda Hadid introduced viewers to her lemon groves on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador showed off her nine lemons in a bowl. The zany housewife has become a fan-favorite, not only for her kooky beliefs and superstitions, but also for how authentic she has always been. No matter the hard times that Shannon has gone through, she has always been transparent on the series. From her tumultuous marriage to David Beador, to their uncomfortable divorce, even her recent DUI is being foregrounded in Season 18. The one thing that Shannon seemingly has been trying to keep under wraps is her apparent drinking problem, which she chooses to deny.

After her divorce, Shannon began her health food business, Real for Real Cuisine. She eventually built the company, and it became a featured product on the QVC shopping channel. After the success of the prepared meals line, Shannon also developed supplements under the Real for Real brand. In Season 17 of Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon also announced that she is partnering with her longtime holistic specialist, Dr. In Eon Moon. Together, Shannon and Dr. Moon are developing an at-home colonic product called a Sitolonic. Although Shannon joked that she wasn't quite making a profit yet, but has been breaking even, she is still doing well enough to land herself among the richest of the rich in Housewives history.

21 Bronwyn Newport

RHOSLC - (TV Personality, Broadway Producer, Fashion Blogger) - Net Worth $24.6 million

Bronwyn Newport interview on RHOSLC Image via Bravo

The newest cast member joined The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in Season 5, and she was certainly no wallflower. Bronwyn Newport joined the group of ladies as a close friend of Lisa Barlow, but the pair only needed to film a few scenes together before the newcomer noticed a shift in her friend's personality once the cameras were filming. Their slow-burning back-and-forth feud has sustained much of Season 5, and Bronwyn being able to hold her own against one of Salt Lake's most seasoned Housewives has made her a standout in Season 5.

Bronwyn is married to Todd Bradley, a software and tech investor who was one of the CEOs of Palm, the originators of the PalmPilot. Bronwyn is Todd's second wife, and the settlement documents estimated the tech CEO's net worth to be around $24.6 million. That, in addition to the multiple properties the couple owns, and now Bronwyn's salary as everyone's new favorite Salt Lake City Housewife.

20 Dina Manzo

RHONJ - (TV Personality, Interior Decorator, Entrepreneur) - Net Worth: $25 million

Dina Manzo promo on 'RHONJ.' Image via Bravo

Dina Manzo helped to launch Real Housewives of New Jersey, with her brother and sister Chris Laurita and Caroline Manzo, and their New Jersey friend group. In 2017, Dina married Dave Cantin, founder of the Dave Cantin Group, a financial advisory company. Caroline is married to Albert Manzo, the brother of Dina's ex-husband, Thomas Manzo. Dina's wedding to Manzo was featured on the VH1 series My Fabulous Wedding.

The Manzos' alleged connections to organized crime were addressed in RHONJ, and once Dina was preparing for her wedding to Cantin, the accusation was raised once more. Thomas Manzo was accused of organizing a robbery of Cantin's home that included enlisting the help of a member of the Lucchese crime family to assault Dina and Cantin during the home invasion. Thomas stood trial in June 2024, and was convicted of committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering, conspiracy to commit a violent crime in aid of racketeering, and one count of falsifying and concealing documents related to a federal investigation. Dina is an interior designer, and she also owns a skincare line, Glow by Dina. She has guest-starred in a number of reality series, including "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," and "Iron Chef America." She owns multiple real-estate holdings and is also actively involved in her charitable foundation, Project Ladybug, which lends assistance to children fighting cancer.

19 Luann de Lesseps

RHONY (TV Personality, Singer, Performer) - Net Worth: $25 million

Luann de Lesseps has to be the housewife who has undergone the wildest transformation since she helped to launch Real Housewives of New York City in 2008. Luann was first introduced to viewers as a former nurse and model, who had become a stuffy and elitist New Yorker who used her newfound celebrity from the series to publish a book on etiquette. Luann insisted on being addressed as "the Countess" in the series, as she was married to Count Alexandre de Lesseps (whose family presented the Statue of Liberty to the United States). Since then, Luann delivered thirteen stellar seasons on RHONY, plus two spin-offs through her appearance on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, and her series with Sonja Morgan called Welcome to Crappie Lake.

RHONY featured many highs in the Countess' life, but also many lows, including her divorce from the Count due to rumored infidelity in 2009, and her arrest for disorderly intoxication in 2017. Now Luann is jetting around the world with her cabaret series, where she can mimic and mock her Countess persona while performing smoky renditions of her own line-up of singles, plus some jazzy covers along the way. She has also made appearances on many TV shows, including The Today Show, The View, and Wendy Williams, Luann also has an impressive real-estate portfolio.

18 Caroline Stanbury

RHODubai (TV Personality, Entrepreneur, Designer, Podcast Host) – Net Worth: $30 million

Caroline Stanbury is the poshest of posh Housewives. Her stiff-upper-lip upbringing has led to accusations of her being distant, and often leads to misunderstandings between her and the other wives on Real Housewives of Dubai, who seem to expect different emotional reactions than what they receive from their posh friend. Season 1 introduced Caroline and her husband, Sergio Carrallo, a former professional soccer player who follows his wife about as though still in the puppy-love stage. The much younger man is eager to be a father, despite his wife's avowed disinterest in children. Caroline was contemplating appeasing Sergio in Season 1, and in the second season she has inched closer to the idea of having a baby with her husband, although her daughter from a previous marriage is slightly horrified at the idea.

Season 2 has also shown the couple moving into their swanky Dubai mansion with its $50,000 sofa. This season, Caroline has made peace with co-star Chanel Ayan, though the two sparred frequently in Season 1. In Season 2, Caroline's ire has instead turned towards Sara Al Madani, who has gotten under the cool Brit's skin. As Caroline Brooks is working on calming her temper, Sara has turned into the "Brooks whisperer," helping her to communicate with the group through her anger, and Caroline is totally annoyed by their new dynamic. The best thing about Caroline Stanbury is you never need to guess what her opinion on a situation is, whether her co-stars ask for it or not. Much of Caroline's wealth is generational, as she comes from a well-off British family. Her first marriage was also with a Turkish millionaire, and presumably, when their divorce was final, Caroline walked away with a hefty settlement. Caroline has also turned to the influencer space in recent years. She has over 700K followers on Instagram and her income is supplemented by endorsement deals.

17 Crystal Kung Minkoff

RHOBH (TV Personality, Entrepreneur) – Net Worth: $30 million

crystal-minkoff-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills Image via Peacock

Crystal Minkoff was an underrated addition to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast. Her unbothered attitude got under her co-stars' skin, as they would often accuse her of not speaking up, only to harass her when they did not like what she had to say. Crystal shared her life in many ways, opening up about her struggles with an eating disorder, sharing hilarious outtake moments of conversations with her housekeeper, and her married life with filmmaker Rob Minkoff and their two children. Her fabulous lifestyle comes not only from her husband's successful career scoring iconic films, most notably the Disney film The Lion King, but Crystal is also a successful entrepreneur in her own right.

Presumably through her husband's connections, Crystal did land a job voicing a character in the animated TV series Zootopia+, but that was just a side hustle. Though it was not featured on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Crystal runs an incredibly successful coconut water company, Real Coco, shared with her brother. The siblings appear in several scenes together as they repair their relationship after Crystal and her mom seemingly influenced a break-up between the musician and his girlfriend. In 2022, Crystal was also paid an undisclosed amount by the Chinese government to promote the Beijing Winter Olympics.

16 Tinsley Mortimer

Tinsley Mortimer in RHONY

Tinsley Mortimer is the definition of the term "old money" in America, like, descendant of Thomas Jefferson, kind of old money. Prior to signing on to Real Housewives of New York City, she appeared on Gossip Girl, and had her own reality series, High Society.

Tinsley then went on to appear in RHONY from Season 9 to Season 12. Tinsley graduated from Columbia University with a very demure degree in art history. She has her own line of handbags and clothing in Japan for fashion house Samantha Thavasa, and her handbags are also carried in the Madison Avenue store. Tinsley also authored the book Southern Charm, and contributed to the best-selling book The Park Avenue Diet.

14 Yolanda Hadid

RHOBH (TV Personality, Model) – Net Worth: $45 million

yolanda-hadid-rhobh Image via Peacock

Yolanda Hadid was the perfect entry into Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in Season 3 of the series. Viewers were first introduced to Yolanda as she prepped her teenage daughter Gigi Hadid for a photo shoot as she stepped into her mother's shoes to pursue a career as a fashion model. Yolanda would eventually keep herself busy managing all three of her kids' careers, as Bella Hadid and Anwar Hadid joined their older sister in the modeling world. Yolanda's idyllic life on her estate filled with lemon groves seemed effortlessly perfect, down to her photo-ready refrigerator filled with nothing but fruits and vegetables. Yolanda also presented a picture-perfect version of her marriage to musician David Foster on the series, always calling him "my love" and hosting lavish dinner parties together with piano-filled sing-alongs. Although David would have preferred it if the singing had been left to the professionals. Yolanda never seemed to allow anything to disrupt her picture-perfect modern family, even upholding a strong relationship with her ex-husband, real-estate developer Mohamed Hadid, who was a nearby neighbor. But Yolanda's marriage to David unfortunately succumbed to the "Housewives' curse," as the musician seemed to pull further and further away as Yolanda struggled with what was at first an unknown illness that turned out to be Lyme disease.

Yolanda's reoccurring and mysterious symptoms even led to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Lisa Rinna accusing her new friend of having the psychological condition known as Munchausen syndrome, where an individual is thought to feign or self-induce symptoms in order to draw sympathy for themselves. This suggestion caused such a rift that Yolanda eventually departed the series, amid her sudden divorce after four years of marriage. Yolanda's lucrative career and her divorce settlements have set her and her children up for their jet-setting lifestyle, although these days much of her time is spent on her Pennsylvania farm with her granddaughter. Recently, she has also been spending time in Texas with her boyfriend, Joseph Jingoli, amid daughter Bella's romance with cowboy Adan Banuelos.

Although Dorit Kemsley and her husband Paul Kemsley may have hit a rough patch in their marriage, collectively the couple is worth a cool $50 million. In her early career, after graduating from Quinnipiac University with a degree in design, marketing, and communication, she traveled through Europe and ended up in Italy, where she spent a decade working for a swimwear company. Dorit joined the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills through her then friend Lisa Vanderpump in Season 7, but their friendship only lasted until their infamous falling out over a puppy named Lucy Lucy Apple Juice. In an interview on Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen, Sutton explained: "It's true, because he was in charge of the finances, I didn't know everything. So when you do the full disclosure and get everything, I was like, 'What?" It's two minor-league baseball teams. I knew we had a timber company. But I didn't know all. There were like 10 things on there. I was like, 'Wow, I'm rich.'" In 2012, Christian and Sutton paid $7 million for a home in Bel Air. Sutton received this home in the divorce. She listed it for sale in June 2020 for $9 million. In October 2020, she accepted $7.7 million. That same month as the sale, Sutton paid $5.4 million for a different Bel Air mansion. She also continues to own an estate in her native Georgia and a three-bedroom New York City condo.

The Skinnygirl brand started as a line of low-calorie cocktails, then expanded to a range of products, from snacks to apparel. In 2011, Beam Global bought the company for around $100 million. Though Frankel did retain the rights to the Skinnygirl name for certain product categories. She also achieved a huge payout after investing in the celebrity greeting app Cameo. In 2019, Bethenny was asked to join the start-up. She agreed, but only if she received equity in the company, and knowing that Bethenny could be crucial in attracting other reality stars, especially Real Housewives, Cameo agreed. By 2021, with the COVID pandemic causing Cameo's popularity to soar, the company raised $100 million at a $1 billion valuation. Bethenny then sold her shares at the next funding round. According to Bethenny, she earned a "seven-figure" payday from the sale. She has also purchased and sold several homes in New York City, Greenwich, Connecticut, and the Hamptons, making millions of dollars in profit.
