The most anticipated Netflix fantasy series this month teases its release with a new glimpse at its characters. Netflix is one of the best hubs for streaming fantasy, with massive phenomena like Stranger Things and One Piece. More traditional fantasy on Netflix includes The Witcher's rich Slavic folklore, as well as Shadow and Bone's "Grishaverse" industrial aesthetic. For viewers who prefer a blending of historical fiction and Arthurian myth, Cursed provides a refreshing, action-packed twist on the Lady of the Lake legend, while the mythical apocalypse drama Ragnarok adapts Norse mythology to the modern day.

Netflix has also built a library of some of the best fantasy anime series ever created. For fans of dark fantasy and martial arts, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba offers spectacular sword duels, while Vinland Saga captures a grittier historical epic across the North Sea. Fate/Apocrypha introduces a massive, multi-faction war among legendary historical figures for possession of the Holy Grail, and The Seven Deadly Sins provides a more classic high-fantasy adventure filled with knights and mythological beasts.

Delicious in Dungeon has become a breakout sensation of its own thanks to its subversion of traditional role-playing tropes and its meticulous world-building, with a unique culinary twist.

Ahead of season 2's release, Delicious in Dungeon unveils a promotional image that features an updated look at four central figures. Falin appears in a blue and white robe alongside the sharp-eyed human leader Kabru, clad in updated grey armor plates. Next to them, the green-cloaked, grey-haired elf captain Mithrun and the purple-clad, dark-skinned Thistle showcase their new look. These updated designs feature subtle adjustments that align the animation closely with Ryoko Kui's evolving manga illustration style.

Delicious in Dungeon season 2' worldwide streaming window on Netflix is set for October 2027, following the bittersweet climax of the season 1 finale, where Laios, Marcille, Senshi, and Chilchuck successfully toppled the Red Dragon but faced an apocalyptic twist. Though they used forbidden black magic to resurrect Falin, Thistle intervened to morph her flesh into a half-dragon Chimera. To untangle her soul, Senshi proposed a wild plan to journey into the deepest layers of the dungeon to defeat the Lunatic Magician and devour the remaining parts of the dragon.
